QR Readable from Space: Don't copy

It is another marketing coups people try to catch the attention of the ones with money: Giant QR Code painted on a roof. It is big enough to be read from outer space. Besides the obcvious question whether Aliens are using iOS or Android the key question is whether they have USD to pay.

Or is this all just a gimmick and the Marketing ROI is in the PR this gets - including the viral pieces like this one? I tend to the earthly interpretation. And therefore my recommendation is: Don't copy - I wil not write another clip ;-)

I think most aim is the marketing PR, but it could also be that people scan the code from Google maps satellite photos of this building

I had not thought about Google maps. This is certainly an option.
