It's a sad day. Chefs like Benoît Violier inspire me to create dishes with expression, not just "food" on a plate.
Mr. Violier ran the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville in Switzerland, which was named the world’s best in December. The police said his death appeared to have been a suicide.

So what does the mafia have to do with your #OliveOil?  Hope they don't get mad at me. 60 Minutes California Olive Oil Council (COOC) <3 Stella #TheVillageWay #VillageWay #Health #EVOO #MediterraneanDiet

You have no idea how much I enjoyed creating this recipe! Have you ever tried a frittata for lunch or dinner?  If you're into wine, try a Sancerre (wine) with this dish--you'll <3 it.

Christmas morning brings squeals of delight and rips of gift wrap. But once the toys are open, and tinsel and bows clutter the living room floor, it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed about what to make for brunch. Not to worry: a Christmas morning butternut squash frittata will do just the trick. Butternut squash …

DNA surveys tell us we’re all 99.9% alike, but what if the gut microbiome (the bacteria that resides within us) makes us radically different from a health perspective? Within my practice, I’ve been putting a precedent on the personalized dietary model for years. As early as 2006, I have been furnishing my clients with blood sugar …

Glazing root vegetables with maple syrup or brown rice syrup is one of my favorite go-to seasonal recipes. Pair this dish with a piece of roasted fish, and if you're into wine, don't spend gobs of money...a nice Beaujolais from Maison Louis Jadot is absolute perfection and costs $12.99. heart emoticon Stella ‪#‎TheVillageWay‬ ‪#‎VillageWay‬ ‪#‎MediterraneanDiet‬ ‪#‎FoodPorn‬ ‪#‎HealthyRecipes‬
Parsnips are packed with nutrients, making this dish a super healthy addition to your fall table!

I award you the title as being one of the most controversial food products in #nutrition #research.  And now you are being compared to #fructose and #saturatedfat for attributing to the #obesity epidemic? +Univ. of California, Riverside

Soybean consumption has been on the rise since the 1960’s; thanks to a dairy-free movement and a fear of meat-based saturated fats and their supposed correlation to cardiovascular disease (CVD). In fact, soybean’s derivatives have become so popular that soybean oil now accounts for more than 90% of all the seed oil production in the …
