What are accelerated mobile pages? They are pages using the new open framework AMP HTML which is intended to build light-weight web pages. Similar to Facebook’s Instant Articles and Apple News, such web pages are built to load instantaneously no matter what type of phone, tablet or mobile device you’re using by removing all unnecessary elements and delivering a static version of your content.

Is your small business protected from cyber crime?

With the world getting smaller and technology becoming inseparable part of our daily lives cyber crime is getting more and more scary. Everyday in my line of work I talk with people whose websites have been hacked or the security of their clients has been compromised.

Luckily, with the help of my colleague +Radoslav Chakarov, you will be able to better secure your online projects. The best things to take out from his article are to always update your web application's version, plugins and themes, use strong passwords, and don't download premium paid themes and plugins for free from shady websites.

For more, check out Rado's article below.

PHP 7 is coming to town - everything you need to know

The upcoming stable release of PHP 7.0.0 will be available within just a few months. This new version is expected to bring a lot of positive changes for the users of the well-known programming language and also include core changes to its architecture.

Upcoming features I am personally looking to are:
► 100% more speed for the most popular CMS, CRM and e-commerce apps (including some of our favorites WordPress, Drupal, SugarCRM and Magento)
► mysql module might be deprecated in favour of mysqli
► Unicode Control character (\u) will be now available
► combined comparison operator (otherwise known as the spaceship operator) will also be presented
► the  use statement has been extended and it will provide us with a more comfortable syntax to use multiple classes from the same namespace
► new classes for easier handling of parse errors

For a full recap of everything new, don't forget to check +WebHostFace's article on the matter.

So here is why nobody is reading your content,
why that should matter to you and what is the solution.

In the hectic life of today no one has time to read a whole article. We all know that the attention span of most people in most cases is 6 seconds, so why would someone read through your post which would take 10 minutes to read?

We are bombarded with list, how-to and clickbait articles constantly, not to mention the articles we are simply not interested in. Think for a second when was the last time you read through a wall of text on a website. So why would your visitors do it?

I have been think about this issue for a long time now, especially since I am the impatient guy who just wants to open an article and see everything summarized for me. I have tried with tabbed content (for lists), a summarizing sentence under a section (for general articles) and other methods but I find the solution presented in +Dan Petrovic's article very appealing.

The only thing which concerns me is: are people going to know that there is more information hidden in a hypotext or just presume it is a link to another article. I will definitely look into this and probably add an annotation saying Expand or maybe a plus sign.

If you managed to read through all my rambling, congratulations, you can now move to the article in +DEJAN's website. If not, don't worry, the answers you seek are still in the same article. Enjoy!

How to Expand your E-commerce marketing with Pinterest and Flipboard

Interactive online magazines like Pinterest and Flipboard have changed the way the game is played and it is time you got on the bandwagon. Social media give users the ability to both create their own magazines and to share and like products.

What separates Pinterest and Flipboard from the other social media is the fact that your product is not simply an image with text, it’s an interactive product listing with all the needed information. It can contain price, availability, features, recipe ingredients, maps with points of interest for a tour or а cruise, and of course a link where people can order your product or service.
