Dear lazy web. Any suggestion for how to do fault injection for the filesystem operations from c-unit tests. I am looking for something that needs no root privileges (so doing some dmmapper invocations work work). Ideally it is not visible to other processes (so that e.g. sandboxed distro-package builds won't break).
Essentially I want to things like define that the next fopen call with these parameters is suppose to fail with this result and then run my application code.
In dynamic script language things like that are a lot easier, but in c ...?
