I'm looking to rent Google Glass, preferably from someone that is Toronto-area based. We are shooting a video and would likely only need it for a single day. If you know someone with Google Glass or own it yourself and would like to make a quick buck please leave a comment.

My G4 came in the mail yesterday. It only took two days to ship in from Singapore. Loving the tan leather back.

Today I checked the mailbox and all of my accessories arrived as well.

Car holder up top, Qualcomm QC wall wart, car charger and backup battery as well as 3 glass screen protectors from the wonderful people at XtremeGuard. I'm currently testing the wall charger and it's charged about 30% in ~24 minutes.

Fantastic.

Love this phone, but I'm currently looking into a bluetooth audio issue I'm having. Hopefully I can get it sorted but it seems like it's a compression issue. It's almost fuzzy.

I enjoy going to Brü as I'm a big fan of their awesome, constantly rotating beer selection. They have countless bottle you won't find at the LCBO or beer store, I know because I've tried. The atmosphere is nice, during the day is relatively quiet but it gets very full in the evening. The staff, every single time I've gone there, has been fantastic. Some of the nicest and most helpful bartenders and servers in Oakville. The food, for the most part is great. They change their menu semi-often which I appreciate. I'm told they have a new menu for after midnight madness so I'll be sure to check that out. On my most recent visit had the brisket sandwich and the burger. The brisket was great, very juicy, perfect size served with a nice mountain of golden fries. The burger while tasty was a bit salty. I informed our server of this and a few minutes later she came back with an apology, 2 free drinks and saying the chefs were cooking up a burger to see if they'd made their batch too salty. There was no hesitation, no request for compensation, they just did what needed to be done. I look forward to the new menu and you should as well.

Maro's has changed over the past year or two and it's exciting to watch. I fell in love with Maro's cooking years ago when he was at another location, then he opened his own business where it's currently located. To say he hasn't looked back since would be an understatement. I first went there for the burritos, because they're massive and incredibly priced, not to mention the best tasting chicken in Oakville. But one day I decided to try something a little different and I too never looked back. Lunch in Beirut, Memories of Persia, Maros Special and The Veggie Tower were all fantastic. The atmosphere has also changed, the redecorating Maro has done looks fantastic. It's a nice rustic feel and im terribly jealous of the tables he has. Watching the food being made, realizing the use of fresh ingredients and dishes that are made in front of you instead of hours before, Maro's will impress from start to finish. As long as that grill stays hot and that spit keeps turning, I'll keep eating at Maro's.

I went once for NMT's new customer discount but kept going back after the flawless service. It's nice to go somewhere where you not only trust the people who are working but also trust their advice. There's a level of sincerity with this family run business that you don't get in other places. They care not only about your car but also about you. I'm always given a multitude of options at various price points, appointments are worked around my schedule and the owner even went out of his way to help when I was trying to sell my car. I think it means a lot to trust people with potentially the second largest purchase you'll make in your life and NMT has earned my trust.

I've been coming to this location since it was first opened, solid shawarma, love that they have the garlic and hot sauce out for people to use as much as they'd like. Most of the time my visits are flawless.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Beautiful, quiet location when we first arrived. The backyard patio is absolutely fantastic and sitting among the plants are trees really makes you feel at home. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with food and drink selections. I noticed burgers were easily the fastest item to come out and many people were getting them. That's unfortunate because the Sous Vide fish and perfectly cooked pork chop were more than worth the wait. We also had Ceviche to start and the best cornbread I've ever eaten. The selection of mixed drinks was quite long with many interesting options, 2/5 of their beers were out of stock but im fairly easy going when it comes to beer choices and can appreciate a restaurant with a selection of local breweries. I have nothing negative to say about The Harbord Room and look forward to my next visit.

I've eaten from Memphis BBQ 3 times now. All three times I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. This most recent time I drove all the way back to Oakville with it and it was still fantastic. Their ribs are easily the best I've ever had, great variance on the flavor and spice level of wings, cornbread is moist and the fries are crunchy and reheat really well. I've recommended this particular location to a friend of mine who grew up eating southern BBQ south of the boarder and he says it's the best he's eaten while living here. I'll need to try the Milton location as it's a bit closer for me, but this location easily gets 5/5.

Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, store is clean and organized and check-out lines aren't too bad. Great selection of quality meats as well, the butchers are especially helpful.
