Is Your New Content the 'Right' Content?
For today's search marketers, the content expansion process has created an overwhelming obsession with fresh content. People have been working under the impression that producing fresh content is the only way to really help websites succeed.
However, the downfall of these surges in an already fast-paced environment involves many people hastily building content before really understanding its fundamental purpose.

What’s the Best Redirection Method for Your Website?

What are the best redirect options to use in SEO? Does it affect SEO? These questions tend to give confusions for people who want to optimize their web page. Setting redirection to your website’s pages is a hassle thing, especially when you don’t have an idea what is the best way to use between 301 Redirection and Canonical.
If you are looking for a web page redirection that is efficient enough, 301 redirects suits your website. There is also called Canonical, which supports your rankings and control duplicate content issues.
Using the 301 redirect inappropriately can cause errors. Here are the suggestions when you should use 301:
As default
Pages are being permanently moved or replaced
404 pages and expired content
In order to provide better user experience, in an effective way, there is a tool that helps to avoid identical issues in the search engines, it is called as canonical. I have suggestions when you should use canonical attribute:
Dynamic pages with multiple URLs on a single page (from sorting features, tracking options, etc.)
When 301s can’t be implemented, or take too much time.
In general, 301 redirect is the most preferred route, but still it gives the best course of action.

How to Make Switching Server Runs Smooth with SEO
Server switching is a technique to virtualize at the IP level. SEO checkpoints occur whenever there is a change in the server settings. However, there are ways to ensure that switching server runs smooth with SEO.
Always Check Errors When You Change
Ask an IT expert first before messing with your server. If the server hardware is upgraded, and the server software configurations remains the same, there is no SEO-specific issues that will arise. But if you change server settings, SEO checkpoints will occur.
Back-Up Everything
Make sure to copy everything the files from one server to another. This includes images, downloads, or configuration files.
Moved all the hidden files (.htaccess file).
Move your HTTPS certificate if you have.
Don’t Forget 404 Page
Make sure you still have your custom 404 page. Make sure it’s triggered in all scenarios – on all subdomains, subdirectories, and URL suffixes. Make sure 404s are returned when they should be, as opposed to soft 404s.
Review Your Site
Crawl that sucker. See if HTTPS status codes or anything else has changed. It’s easier if you can crawl the site before the switch and then after the switch so you can compare apples to apples.
Don’t Block the Search Engine Spiders
Spiders only can follow links from one page to another and from one site to another. That is the primary reason why links to your site (inbound links) are so important. Be careful in configuring your server settings, it might block traffic from a certain country and you may accidentally block Google.
