Great seating & great show. Aside from a rude Usher (that i guess took one look at me and thought i shouldn't be able to afford third row seats or something) and an obviously ill woman coughing up a storm right behind me everything else was great. 1 side note. you are not allowed to enter the theater with any food or drinks that you buy in the lobby. So I suggest getting a bite or drinks before the show. There are many nice places within walking distance.

This is a very good music venue. The folks in the box office held a ticket for a friend who was meeting me there. Most venues don't do that. I am not sure if the State Theatre still does it, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Their ushers are polite and hlepful.

Really enjoy this theatre seeing some of my favorite performances and being so close to where I live. Always enjoyed every show I have seen there so far and looking forward to returning. Never disappoints me!!!! Sound needs to be adjusted to higher clarity.

I've seen a few musicals (west side story, sister act, anything goes and a bugs bunny movie with the nj symphony playing the score.) The productions were Broadway quality material. For that I'd give it 5 stars. But the ushers are unprofessional and rude. Not even sure what their job is since you still have to find your seat on your own(not Broadway quality behavior.) All they do is give you a program and be rude to your 80plus yr old mother when she tried to change her seat.

Arrogant ushers and staff. For $118 a ticket you would think they could stock the men's room with toilet paper. Unless someone really special is performing go elsewhere.
