No one trusts John Kerry. He is a liar.

Dogs do not eat bone that will hang on their neck! If the vioce of reasons prevail please sheaths your sword rebelious done harm that good

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country." ~ Edward Bernays, "Propaganda," 1928

Could you please explain to me why our tax dollars are being spent to convince us to get involved in a war the majority of the population have expressed they do not want to get involved in? You have had the opportunity to present you case that we should get involved. The majority of the population remain unconvinced. Please do not continue to spend our money to propagandize us to support a war we do not want. You are our representatives, not our superiors. Thank you.

Why the huge push to fight on the side of al-qaeda. Where was this level of interest when benghazi was happenning? Almost a year later and no justice there. Stay out of the syria fight.

Stopping a ruthless dictator from using chemical weapons to kill civilian men, women, and children is the right thing to do.The fact that Russia, and China are blocking the UN from doing so is very worrisome.  It is in essence tacit permission for the use of WMD by two supper powers, and sets a terrible precedent  .
I applaud our presidents willingness to stand up to these regimes, and call on the American people to act.

+Wolf Revels Nope, spoken by someone who John Kerry personally lied to. In 1991 & 1992, when Kerry was a senator and a co-chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, I caught Kerry in several lies and wrote about it in The New York Guardian. Here are some examples:

1. When I revealed his cousin, Stewart Forbes, stood to gain from the normalization of relations with Vietnam, John Forbes Kerry lied about their familial relationship. He asked me to retract what I had written and I told him to prove it was untrue and I would. He never proved it.

2. I revealed that he and his chief of staff, Frances Zwenig "scripted" the testimony of wwitnesses from the CIA aand NSA. Kerry told me scripting was a "commonly used term on the Hill." It was not.

Share this if you want. I challenge John Kerry to prove I am lying. I've already proven he is a liar.

+Wolf Revels As long as we're caught in the fervor of policing the world as oppose to the U.N. doing what they were created to do, does anyone remember "Kony 2012" or have we completely forgotten last year's fervor. It's not our responsibility. It is the territory of the U.N., we are not under their command as their sole enforcer. Period.

The UN does not have a standing army. As such "if" the UN authorizes use of military action member states will need to contribute.

Its already proven the VIA supported rebels used the chemical armed shells. This planned chemical attack was conceived and given the green light here in the United States by members of our own leadership. What a joke.. I am embarrassed to tell the world I am an American.. No war in my name! WWIII was described by Albert Pike to Mazzini in the 1800'a and now here we are... Stand up, say no to their false flags, lies, theft, and corruption. Congress are all paid actors. Even Ron Paul keeps patriots full of hope and in their chairs.

The cost of silence that +John Kerry refers is a convenient one. Pure hipocrysy.

+Bruce Guerin there is no great glory in helping the dissemination of lies and conspiracy theories. Or are the voices in your head screaming so loud you simply can't stop yourself...

+Ari Malek Are you talking about V2K, Voice - To - Skull Tech? Just a part of "non"-lethal weapon systems or "Weapons of Mass Protection" as M2 Tech refers to them -  neuroweaponry, confusion weaponry, psychotronic weapons, microwave weapons, ELF weapons, the list goes on and on. Technology. It would be nice if they would regulate them but I guess they can't for security purposes.

Its not a war. Ignorant people. Know your facts, damn. We aren't even going to use aircrafts. Just shell them from ships and shoot missiles from sea. No war. No tanks or infantry or helos.

+Ryan W You believe that? Didn't you learn anything from Iraq? Your government lies.

With these lying mofo's we are at time politics at its best

The presidential library next for the anniversary

That is true, Mr Secretary. It is an historic moment which no one can afford to lose!

I too agree that we should not be getting ourselves involved here but Former Secretary Kissinger made a very good point the other day.  If we don't do something, the world will see America as weak.  The US cannot afford (economically, & strategically) to be viewed in such a light either by our allies or our enemies.  To do nothing now (after he opened his mouth), would be disastrous, but there must be more of an objective than "we want to punish him".  What's the purpose, objective, and contingency plans if something goes wrong?

+Jeff Brailey this is totally different than Iraq and Kuwait. There is proof that assad has chemical weapons and is willing to use them. There was no proof for wmd in Iraq. In the bill that was passed by the senate there was a limit to what actions can be done. Why is it when a congressman is againt attacking and then gets briefed in private they come out and changr their minds. Its because now they know the whole truth and that truth is daunting on the human spirit. If Congress say go then we should most definitely attack. Only by artillery though, no boots.

+Dave Tunc what danger are the navy men in 200 miles off the coast playing with remotes? Does Syria have a navy? Or an air force? Its laughable to think they would be in danger as if they were on front lines getting shoot at and granades thrown at your face. Its warfare, not war.

+Ryan W Artillery? If artillery is used, boots will be on the ground. In fact, we have US Patriot Missile batteries (artillery) right across Syria's border with Jordan. You are aware the Russian Navy is in the region and Russia is an ally of Syria, right?  Once we open this box it will be hard to close without causing WWIII.

Syria does have an air force of Russian fighter jets.  My son is in the USAF and I have served in the Army Rangers.  If you believe that a couple of well aimed missiles are going to do anything of value, then you really know nothing of warfare.  To spit at the enemy is different than taking the enemies capabilities away, and you cannot do that without boots on the ground in the middle of a civil war.  Do you have any idea how much those missiles cost, and we are going to just send a hundred or so?

Oh, and remember most of our information about their capabilities is coming from former government or defectors.  How much money do you want to place on the information obtained from a liar, and who was probably paid?

Kick the Clown-in-thief out of office.

Political thugees of the world; you have been warned about a new world with certain new orders. Human rights and democracy are the business of the day. That is your qualification to play in the game of politics must come from ballot-boxes and not the size of your knives; guns; tanks; or chemical weapons loaded on missiles and/or artillery shells! Better learn sooner than later.

+Fardin Nikjoo unfortunately, they don't play the game by the rules because they make them up as they go along.

Break international law to enforce international law?

I think this is exactly the time. My conscience is clear. They wanna kill each other fine. Why should we help when we know from history that whomever we help will just try to kill us in the future anyway

WE elected our President because he was the most trusted candidate. He goes to work for America at great personal sacrifice. He is OUR Commander in Chief. WE have seen the change not so much in immigration, voting and healthcare reform, but moreso is how those dollars are always accumulating greater wealth for very few. The resistance is that those who have had daunting control over the People for too long -- are now watching that control slip away.
Liars, cheaters and thieves who get to that higher plateau, are confused -- taking what the People work for does not make our work their property...
I am sure OUR President will do what is best for America.
I have a photo of Vice-President Barkley looking a pile of bodies gases by Hitler. He was my great uncle. Surely, WE should not keep repeating ourselves... one gases is one too many. Get all the good citizens of Syria to safety, and jail the rest with whatever force OUR President deems justified & may God Bless their souls.

Silly, question. I said the good citizens... would you consider yourself a good citizen?

Oh... so are the 400+ dead children little good citizens?.... I am sure you will agree that they were not killed by good citizens...Yes! or No!

Now was OJ guilty or do you believe in our system of justice? How about Zimmerman... surely our system of government lets you agree or disagree. No one ever agrees to be killed by the 1000s with gas bombs.

Syria is not a new war, Is it? Same war -- different place!
