2014 Global Partnerships Week: Public-Private Partnerships Helping to Promote Diplomacy and Development.

March 24-30 marks Global Partnership Week. During the week governments, companies, civil society organizations, faith based organizations, diaspora communities, and academic institutions are inspired to explore their potential as shared value collaborators and solutions providers.

Join Secretary Kerry’s Deputy Special Representative for Global Partnerships, Thomas Debass, in a Google+ Hangout to discuss the events that took place during Global Partnership Week and the critical role public-private partnerships play in promoting diplomacy and development around the world.

The hangout will include representatives from across the private sector and academia, including Natalie Pregibon, Director of P3 Intelligence at the Concordia Summit, Kingsley Aikins, CEO at DiasporaMatters, and Mary Margaret Frank, Associate Professor at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Follow @StateDept and @GPIatState on Twitter for more information on Global Partnerships Week.
This Hangout On Air is hosted by U.S. Department of State. The live video broadcast will begin soon.
