The United States just wrapped up its successful July Presidency of the UN Security Council. The presidency -- which rotates monthly and now goes to Argentina in August --focused on issues as far ranging as the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria to the conflict in Africa’s Great Lakes region. The July Presidency also marked the first UN visit of John Kerry as Secretary of State. Read more:
