I am so proud to be endorsed by California Federation of Teachers (CFT), who support my vision of a quality education for all children:

"We are so proud to endorse Sandra Fluke for State Senate. Sandra's commitment to a quality public education runs deep. With a mom who served as a public school teacher for 35 years, Sandra understands how hard teachers and support personnel work in our schools and the many challenges they face day in and day out.

Sandra has already demonstrated her strength of character by standing up to reactionary forces on a national level. We could use that same determination in the State Senate. She is an inspiring and effective advocate who is committed to a quality education for every student, from early childhood through higher education.

We deeply appreciate her vision and her clear, substantive positions on public education. I believe Sandra will be a champion in the California legislature for public education, for our students and for the thousands of women and men who work in our schools."

-- Joshua Pechthalt, President of CFT

I really enjoyed chatting with Levo in their “Office Hours” series. We discussed issues, campaign life, faith, and many other questions. It’s a little long, but if you’ve got the time, you should definitely check it out!

Since June 3, we’ve hit the ground running. Within hours of the primary, I was honored to be endorsed by Congresswoman Karen Bass, and more recently, gained the critical support of the current California Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, Councilmember Mike Bonin, retired Councilmember Bill Rosendahl and EMILY’s List. Will you support me, too?

I’m proud to have been a part of the coalition that helped pass the California Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in 2013. By doing so, the state addressed an historic inequity, acknowledging domestic workers as a legitimate workforce. You can learn more by clicking below.

#ThrowbackThursday to the pride parade. Even today I am still glowing with pride, and will always remain committed to supporting LGBTQ rights.

On June 3 - with your support and months of hard work - we advanced to the general election. Now, I have some incredible news to share: Despite being outspent 2-to-1, I earned the most votes at the polls on Election Day. Will you stand with me again and help me win in November?

The WeHo News on my race: “Last week West Hollywood got a very pleasant surprise; a nationally renowned women’s social justice activist who made a feint for a seat in Congress and gave the State senate a shot in the June primary made the top two, meaning that she’ll be on November’s ballot.”

Proud to have the endorsement of Asm. Bonnie Lowenthal, Chair of the Legislative Women's Caucus and Assembly Committee on Transportation!

“Sandra Fluke is the right choice for the State Senate. While she’s most known for her advocacy on women’s issues – and I do look forward to continuing to work with her on women’s issues – she’s also a passionate advocate on other important issues Californians care deeply about, including transportation policy and environmental protection. She is as fearless as she is smart – a powerful combination for any elected leader. She’ll do an amazing job for her constituents.”

Can you help me get to 50,000 fans by the end of June? Please share this post with your friends and family and ask them to join our #SD26 campaign on Facebook!

I am honored to have the support of Assembly Speaker, Toni Atkins:

“Sandra will be an incredible addition to the Legislature and a great partner in our efforts to advance pragmatic progressive policies. Most importantly, I want to see Sandra in the State Senate because she will be more than just a safe vote – she will be a champion on the issues important to us all. It's critical to the future of California that we elect real leaders, and Sandra is just the kind of leader we need – someone with the experience and tenacity to pass legislation that will move our state forward. I'm proud to endorse Sandra Fluke for State Senate.”
