Yesterday we made the cutest little Painted Chalkboard Trees ornaments. I was in Michael's and spotted these chalkboard tags. They have different shapes but I stopped and thought about the tree shaped ones. Hmm, what could we do with those? I figured something so I bought them. Pretty cheap - 12 / $4.99 and I probably…

Although learning language is a life-long process, developing language skills is really important in the early years of a child's life. Engaging in conversations during daily routines and play, using descriptive words and labels, playing games with sounds, telling stories and singing songs, reading books, all foster language development. Listening & Speaking Language development includes…

We're so enjoying our Winter in the woods theme this month! I'm always trying to find ways to really make the theme we're working with come alive. While shopping for holiday craft supplies, I found several things that go with our theme so pictured making winter in the woods dioramas. Today I pulled out…

Our little snowmen are about the cutest things I've ever seen! I wish I could keep them all but they are going to their individual homes today, likely to be treasured for years by sentimental moms like me. We started with salt dough, as a sensory/play dough activity. Then we created our basic snowman shape.…

Today I'm sharing our super cute Christmas Candles we made for parent gifts this year. After almost 13 years of making crafts, gifts and art with young children, I've still never made candle holders with tissue paper on glass. I'm not sure what I was afraid of, it's so easy! Easier than most projects I've attempted…

Here in Wisconsin, we're waiting for some snow before the holidays. Our first snow arrived last weekend but it's nearly melted already. This weekend we're supposed to get 6-10". Let it snow! This morning it's sunny and cold. It feels like the calm before the storm! Make Let it Snow Ornaments with your kids - they…

Rustic decor, rustic weddings, and all things natural are very popular right now. When I spotted these wood slice ornaments, I knew we needed to make a holiday ornament with them this year. Attending a conference and brought my family along. The resort is old and needs updates. Beautiful plantings and roses throughout. Overall comfortable room, nothing extra. There's not much to do at the resort other than swim at the pools. They do look nice. The Terrace restaurant is pricey and not very good. Not much to choose from for food options. I wouldn't come back and glad I'm not paying for our stay. Conference center is nice. Beautiful weather here in San Diego.

We love Milwaukee Grill. It's our go to place. It's common for us to eat there once a week and have been known to twice in one weekend... My husband likes bluegill and perch. I like the grilled pork burrito or wedge salad. Great burgers! Service is consistently good and meals come out fast! We get better food here for a lower price for a great meal than anywhere in town. Beautiful new updates to the restaurant. Employees know us and are very friendly. The wait can be long so get there early or go on Sunday at noon.

We went to lunch hour at the Flying Bridge restaurant at the resort. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The chips and salsa are excellent!

Stephen does an excellent job. I have a family child care business in the main living space of our home. Our 20 year old, light colored/builder grade, well used & child abused carpet looks like new again. Bright & fresh. He spent a lot of time on it is definitely professional, very detailed and knowledgeable. Great service and friendly. Best carpet care I've had. Highly recommend!

Nice place, we came off the beach for drinks. Three drinks, one nonalcoholic, and it was $38 including a 18.5 % gratuity! Kinda pricey but fun experience.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service. We used the free coffee in the lobby, each of us received a bottle of water upon check in, wake up call in the morning, free parking for the week while on our trip and shuttle transportation to the airport. Very positive experience. Would love to come back.
