You polish your elevator pitch. You define your ideal client down to the shoes she wears. You make a spiffy tag line. You create some magical opt in gift to build your list.

You follow the recipe and expect a delicious meal.

For most of you though, the recipe doesn't work. Listen, it's scary to cook without instructions, to build a business that is yours alone, not part of an A-B-C script. It feels safe to have a recipe in hand.

But dude... the best chefs in the world DON'T use recipes. They cook their meals based on intuition, experimenting with flavor and texture.

If you've been building your business like a robot following the "correct steps" it's time to STOP IT. Stop following on automatic pilot and wondering why it's not coming together.

Time to dig deeper and learn how to truly truly create your business.

Join me in San Diego to start... I promise you no recipes or formulas. http//www.stacynelsonunlimited.com/live

Sometimes I don't 'feel' like moving forward. I want to hang out and write or watch tv. We all have those days.

I look at the magazine I publish and the thing is… I know that it's due out on the 1st of each month. And it's not just for me, it's also for all of the people who are contributing and for the cover coach. It'd be easy to say I don't 'feel' like doing it - but I don't do that because others are counting on me. I make sure that the magazine goes out on time, even if it means working on a Sunday, even if I don't 'feel' like doing it.

Why is is so much easier to do things when there are others' interest on the line but we allow 'I don't feel like it' to come into play when it's only OUR dreams on the line? And what would shift if we put as much effort into our business as we would into helping others, even on those days where we didn't 'feel' like it?

What do you need to do to shift your perception to make you want to feel like it, no matter what?

I like that Pat - the right spirit does come when you are patient.  I guess this is the difference between knowing and trusting yourself and 'just' procrastinating (which I don't believe in by the way!).

Yes Jamie - this was beyond massive for me, I really started making progress when I took it back a step and solved that problem instead of just beating myself with birch twigs for not cracking on!  x

I don't believe in good or evil… all emotions simply are emotions, but this story is powerful. Which wolf are you feeding?

TWO WOLVES...

One day an old Cherokee Chief told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all."

"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed"

I just love the way they framed it… the one who wins is the one who gets fed. What I've noticed for me is that there is no need to let go of the stories or fix them. It's noticing that they are there but choosing not to give them any energy.

What's your relationship with sales… and what if you never had to sell again?

It's something I've really been working at - releasing the sales pitch. I've learned so many different closing techniques I could write a book on just that… but the thing is, my business changed the SECOND I stopped selling.

Coaching is not something that needs to be sold. Ever. If you serve your clients deeply enough they will ask to hire you.

So are you still selling?
Or do you think you could make the shift over to serving?

Oh, that's what I meant, Stacy: You teach me to do it MY way :-) I'll copy some of your way, but do it Jamie-Style and some things I'll just do my way and never look anywhere else :) lol

When we chose the theme of BODY, I imagined nothing but healthy living articles. What was created however went so much deeper, into the spiritual and emotional bodies and the deep interconnectedness of our personal growth using and studying our bodies responses. What came out was nothing short of magic... I'd expect nothing less from a magazine with a powerful man like Rafael Bejarano on the cover!

It's amazing how our clients and the conversations we have reflect what we more need to learn if we are willing to be open to the messages.

Yesterday I had a powerful conversation with someone and she confessed to me a secret book she wanted to write… she is sending me the first character this week.

Today I had a half VIP day with a client. And yes… we ended up creating the chapters to a book she didn't even know she wanted to write.

Want to know what is reflected in my life here… Yesterday I started writing a new book. It is lucky number 16.  Books are all around me as I help others birth theirs, so is mine drawn forth that much more powerfully.

I was on the phone with another client and she's having many clients come to her with money issues. Bet you guessed where the reflection is right?

Another client… integrity issues, people saying they would do one thing and then they weren't doing it. Her message? Where are you telling yourself you'll do something and then don't.

Listen, without judgement here… what are the messages you keep receiving over and over again? And is it possible, that you need to hear them because they are mirroring your next level of growth?

Crazy right? And yet it's so magical to see the lessons of our life being reflected everywhere...

The Olympics are over and what did I learn? That people who do x-games type sports all love and support each other... I saw women from different countries celebrating together their wins and hugging each other through tears. They are there for the love of the game and can compete and still root each other on and give each other hugs. How beautiful is that?  In that spirit… are you competing against other people? Or are you competing for the love of what you do?

So much more fun for everyone that way… the spirit of the Olympics is one of peace and coming together. Totally embodied it!

Intuitive, Empathic Coaching for SoloPreneurs who Lead With Their Hearts
Introduction

Founder iCoach Network, Publisher iCoach Magazine, Coach & Trainer of Intuitive Living & Business Building

I’ve been an entrepreneur for over a decade (my cyber trail runs long and varied) and am truly multi passionate: following pretty shiny ideas left and right. I’ve had many successes and equally as many failures. Honestly, I’ve spend thousands of hours and dollars in learning and self development.

I’ve followed plenty of other people’s formulas for success, usually finding that they didn’t work for me… until I realized that the rules just DON’T apply to intuitive people. I mean seriously, we use intuition in so many aspects of our lives, why don’t we lean on it more when building our businesses? So now I am passionate about helping my clients, all deeply intuitive people, break free of the things they should do and tap into their wealth of knowledge and power already inside of them.   I do it all from my house on the hill on top of 5 acres of beautiful in Southern California with my 2 Australian Shepherds by my side, usually on my feet as I chat the day away.

Why I Coach…

  1. Because it’s fun. I get to talk with interesting people all day long
  2. Because transformation is sexy. I can feel it in my whole body when my client has a breakthrough and I know that in that moment, something in them will never be the same
  3. Because it makes me a better person. I cannot take someone further than where I am willing to go myself so I am always in the process of deepening my practices and the way I show up in the world
  4. Because I create ripples in the world. The growth I help facilitate, my client then takes it to the people in their lives and they take it into theirs. It changes the entire world in that one moment.
  5. Because it’s creative. I never have the same conversation twice. I am always in a new space energetically from call to call, moment to moment, word by word and for a multi-passionate person, the changeability of coaching keeps me coming back for more.

What I don’t want you to know about me…

  1. I’m a Virgo and embody all the perfection and stubbornness that comes with that. Learning to go with the flow is a hard-learned skill for me, one that takes constant deep breathing
  2. Even with years of Business Development in the corporate world and 10+ years of building businesses of my own, I still only earned $1,150 in my first year as a coach, which is now one of the greatest lessons I bring to my clients on what needed to shift to change that
  3. I was born with all kinds of psychic abilities, including being a healer, empath and channel. I hid that part of myself for most of my life in fear of being outcast and misunderstood. Now I help others tap into their inner voice to create awesomeness in their businesses and lives
  4. I have outlines and chapters written and waiting for 15 different books. Perhaps #16 will be the one that gets published…

My Greatest Teachers…

  1. My daughter has made me a much better coach than she ever could have imagined. She taught me that everyone has their own path and that while I can give people all the tools and support at my disposal, it is ultimately up to them to take action. I cannot want my clients’ dreams more than they do.
  2. My coaches who have consistently created a space for me to be vulnerable and talk about the things in life that I secretly want to create, who also have seen a greater version of me that I have and gave me the tools and support to grow into it.

I've been a repeat offender on The Grapeline and have never had less than an amaze-balls time. It's not about the wineries or the wine, although let's be honest - that's why I've taken wine tours to begin with. The reason I ride with these guys is because of the hosts who take care of you, make sure you have water, get you a spot at the counter on busy weekends & if you're really special, hook you up with the good stuff. From the time you make the reservation to the time you get back home, these guys have bent over backwards to make your day fun. I've taken other tours in the valley and have only re-ridden with The Grapeline. There's just no comparison.
