I am a 7th - 10th grade Technology, Computer Science, Design & Modeling, Robotics, and Physical Education teacher at the amazing Advanced Learning Academy - Early College, a PBL-focused, competency-based elementary school where students' needs and input are paramount. Students have individualized learning plans and are able to adjust their program due to their current competency levels, not just based on grade level or age. They have a great deal of flexibility in their learning and are able to pursue their interests during PBL and electives. Their academic curriculum is offered in a blended environment so that students are able to access their curriculum online at any time.

We are a 1:1 Chromebook and G Suite for Education school. Our extremely talented and engaged students have access to a myriad of technologies in STEM, Language Arts, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Electives driven by student interest. Inquiry-based learning is what it's all about!

I am fortunate to be able to train with some amazing and dedicated educators in a fully Google for Education and 1:1 Chromebook district.

I am a Google Certified Trainer (and Teacher), a National Board Certified Teacher, and a Leading Edge Certified Online and Blended Teacher. I just earned California's new CTE Arts, Media, and Communication credential, in addition to having a Multiple Subject Credential and Single Subject Credentials in Social Studies, Career & Technical Education, Physical Education.

Hello everyone!

I am getting recertified as a Google Certified Trainer which requires GCTs to submit a resource to the GCT community. I am submitting my Stacy Kline's Google Certified Educator Level 1 Training HyperDoc.

This is a HyperDoc I created to help teachers prepare to become Level 1 Google Certified Educators. All links and resources are from the Google Training Center. This HyperDoc covers every single lesson and resource in the GTC in a condensed, single document resource. Everything you need to study for the exam is here! I have completed updated this HyperDoc for 2019 and added a few more resources.

I have used it very successfully to train a couple hundred teachers in the Santa Ana Unified School District to study for the Google Certified Educator Level 1 exam. Many of my teachers have gone on to take and pass the test and they've told me that my HyperDoc really helped to focus their studying.

Please feel free to use and share this resource in your training!

In the spring of 2016, our district decided it was ready to go 1:1 with Chromebooks district-wide during the next school year. With that decision, I threw out a crazy idea to my principal and superintendent: “What if we created a student help desk to repair the Chromebooks?” Much to my surprise and delight, they thought it was a great idea. The principal and I worked on a new class schedule for me, a high school social studies teacher at the time, to have a couple class periods of students as a help desk. Our initial goals for these classes were to provide students with real-life experience, have students research tech tips/tricks for our teachers, and reduce the financial impact of repairs. Stacy Kline's GCE Level 2 HyperDoc Study Guide

I made two HyperDocs to help teachers prepare for the Google Certified Teacher Level 1 and Level 2 exams!

All links reference the Google Training Center, so there is no bird-walking, and no resources that aren't needed for the exam.

I created these two HyperDocs to help teachers target the areas they feel they need to focus on if they don't want to complete the entire GCT training course!

Please feel free to share my resources. I released them with a Creative Commons attribution, no changes, share-alike license.

Hope you find them helpful!
