I love this casino, and heres why! In the Twin Cities, all the roulette wheels are electronic which is not fun at all. Here, it is a real physical wheel, which makes it a blast! I would travel a hour and a half just to gamble here. Bring your lady, some cash, and have a great time!

I ate at the seafood buffet on 6/18/15 and the place was a wreck. There was more food on the floor than at the serving trays. They gave me a dirty table and don't have king crab anymore, but the price did drop. It use to be my favorite buffet but this was a horrible experience after not going there for 5 years.

This place is completely horrible ! I placed a bet on a craps table and the dice landed on the number I put a bet on ! They said I did not bet on that number and I asked them to take a look at the camera's and they refused to pay me what they lost ! I would not trust any aspect of this place !!!! Seriously, what kind of an establishment would ever consider doing something like that ! Place is a dump and very untrustworthy !

I visited the Casino on Saturday Aug 30th with three other people to eat at the so called " King Crab Leg Buffet". When we arrived at 6pm, and noticed that there was nobody in line, it should have been a warning not to proceed. Obviously the locals have abandoned this buffet and travelers need to beware! I have been to many casinos in WI to eat, and never have I been so greatly disappointed. For the entry price of $30 per person, it was a complete ripoff. The so called " King Crab" was pitiful to say the least. The legs were small, soft, and mushy to the point that a pair of scissors was needed to open them up. The meat was completely mushy and smelled strongly of old nasty fish. Frankly, the crab meat was the worst I've ever tried to eat and resembled an old athletic sock soaked in salt water. The so called " Prime Rib" tasted more like old salty ham than any sort of beef that I've ever eaten. It's remarkable that someone could possible screw up Prime Rib as badly as they did. The other items on the buffet were old, crusty, and over cooked. The only thing that was decent was the deep fried shrimp. Finally, the so called " desert bar" consisted of 3 items - old crusty brownies, cut up pieces of fruit, and muffins that looked like they came prepackaged from a gas station. I left a comment card that night with my full name and phone number and asked to be contacted - they ignored me. I followed up a few days later with a phone call to the manager, Troy Nelson, who ignored my voice mail message for a call back. Finally today I got a hold of a different worker there who apologized and provided a few excuses but did not offer to refund any of my $ 120 spent that night. The simple fact is that this place does not know what they are doing. The serving staff was nice, but looked uncomfortable since they could obviously see that the food was horrible and the diners were not happy. The worst part for me is that the casino refuses to acknowledge the food is terrible and does not respond to customer complaints. THEY DO NOT CARE!!! Avoid this place if you are smart.

I was there last night. And enjoy going every Couple of months. But last night had to-be the worst time I have ever had there. Have a bad back and the pool and hot tub help me relax and ease some of the never ending pain I live with. But last night my friend and went to the pool around 8~8;30 and it was packed. Which is normal for a Friday night. But none of the parents paid any attention to their children. And they aren't mine So that's on them. But when I can't get in the hot tub because there are 6-8 kids aging from 1-5 blocking the steps and jumping Into the water with floaties on them or on their arms then it effects me. Floating aids and items like that are great in the big nice pool there not in the Hot Tub! A child threw a matchbox car out of the pool towards the hot tub and it came within inches of hitting my g/f in the head. We left shortly after that as the parents were to busy drinking to watch their children. And yes we did go back at the allowed adult swim time. But many children were still there and the staff won't do anything about it. I was very disappointed. But made sure to get up and try to enjoy the pool this am. It's beautiful in the Morning with the sun thinking in all the glass windows. But as I am walking to the pool a housekeeper told me the pool was closed. A man/employee was walking by and housekeeping told me to ask him about it. I was told that a child pooped in the pool last night and it was currently closed for cleaning. The problem wasn't found until midnight when they closed the pool for the night. I also have to add that Turtle Lake Casino used to have the best buffet ever and it wasn't very costly. I don't know what happened but these days the buffet is always bad. From over cooked food to food just being left out all day. And the cost has gone up. It's sad but I wont eat there anymore when I used to look forward to going there. Not sure why all this has happened but maybe they should do a total management overhaul. Just get rid of everyone in upper management and hire all new, might truly make it what it once was.
