What is the best English saddle to ride in? It can be a matter of opinion. I talk about reasons why I choose a dressage saddle for most riding circumstances.

This was so much fun! The location is beautiful and feels very warm and inviting. These people know how to teach horseback riding. I was also amazed at the wealth of information I learned about horses in just an hour. Each horse has their own personality and characteristics and it is so great to get to know them. Its almost as if the horse that I rode for my lesson knew me and I knew him as we bonded very well. It was a lot of fun and a stress reliever as well. You have got to go!

Spruce Meadow Farm has welcomed myself and my children into their family with open arms. My children enjoy coming to the barn and riding different horses and helping out when and if needed. I have attended a pony party here and thought the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Their groupon and amazon offers are a great opportunity to check out whether or not your children (or yourself) would really enjoy taking lessons without making a commitment to such an activity before hand. I have recently become a trainer here at Spruce Meadow Farm, and have been made to feel like part of a family, not just an employee. We try to carry that feeling over to our clients and will rectify any issues one may have. We are here to the make you and your child's horseback riding experience an enjoyable one.

At an event for veterans they welcomed us with open arms and gave my 17 month old her first experience with a horses and her first ride to wit she smiled the entire time. Not only do they support America's Veterans with the horses for veterans program but they inspire the young to love these massive animals. If you want to have a quality experience please consider Spruce Meadow Farms

Terrible experience. Went to redeem a Groupon for a riding lesson, waited almost an hour and a half and only as we got ready to leave did the trainer ask if we were waiting? We had a 4 pm appointment and there was no organization or structure, no one knew what was going on. One girl was kind enough to help us to begin grooming animals but 90 minutes late and we weren't riding. No one offered an apology and 3 different people told us 3 different reasons why there was a delay. It's a shame because the animals are beautiful, but there is clearly no customer service, and I can't encourage anyone to ever use this place or its facilities again.

I have been involved with Spruce Meadow Farm since I was 7. The facility is beautiful, the horses are well cared for, and the staff is friendly. Recently, Karla and Al asked me to teach beginner riding lessons, and I could not be happier to work with such a great group of people. We strive to be a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. Our instructors are very knowledgeable and often go out of their way to help others. We have a fantastic riding camp during the summer for students of all ages, and we regularly run school tours for local elementary students. I highly recommend Spruce Meadow Farm for riders of all ages and levels.

Our daughter attended full day camp for one week. We also attended a birthday party. Camp was really disorganized with absolutely no adult supervision. When we would pick up my daughter she was on a playground with other camp attendees (kids ranging from 6 to 9 years old) with zero supervision. Anyone can pick up your kid, nobody is watching. For the birthday party they supplied one pony to ride for one hour and a couple of picnic tables. Other than that you are on your own. Not once did someone check in to see if we needed anything. There is a reason why they have been offerening multple rounds of coupons on Amazon, Groupon, etc. I would not recommend this farm to anyone - at least not for lessons, camp or a party. For horse boarding I cannot comment.

I love the time I get to spend at Spruce Meadow Farms. The instructors all know what they are doing, I feel safe on the horses and really enjoy my time there. I look forward to learning more about to ride and care for the horses.
