Opens this weekend!

"It's not a drag show," says Mark Pleasant, who plays Sister Mary Hubert in Spokane Civic Theatre's upcoming production of Nunsense A-Men. "Even though we're men, we believe we're female nuns. At one point in time, I talk about when I was a little girl. And if we do the job right, you're slowly going to forget that it's five men up there. But that makes it even funnier, because you're not going overboard."

This weekend was our second week of “The Servant of Two Masters”!

Audiences are loving this quirky, fun show with chaos, comedy and mistaken identity!

January 16 - February 8, 2015

A Madcap Farce in Search of Food

Curtain Times
Thursday-Saturday: 7:30 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM

From the canals of Venice come high-strung lovers, wily servants, and deceiving parents in this theatre-lover’s must-see show. Servant Truffaldino’s story is filled with comedy, chaos, and mayhem: all he is looking for is a decent meal… and a way to double his wages in an unfamiliar city.

My parents took me to this theater when I was young and I really enjoyed watching the musicals. The performance was truly amazing. There were no distractions since the theater has some policies regarding cellphones, taking photos or videos, and coming in late. I still watch their musicals but only once in a while since the parking fee is costly.

Going to the Civic is just plain fun. If you like fun, check out any of their comedies or musicals. It's a super classy place to take a date. Heck, if you can afford it, take the whole family. Seating is comfortable and staff is friendly.
