It's kind of neat looking back at this post knowing that I did indeed leave my vegetarian ways. It wasn't simple or easy decision. And I will ONLY eat meat if it comes from an ethical source that takes care of the animals, gives them a good life and feeds them well (no GMO's or other garbage).
One day my husband was picking up our CSA share from Stubborn Farmer and Greg said something that really comforted him. Sheep were being loaded onto a big truck; their date with destiny had arrived. And Greg said "rest assured, this will be the one and only bad day of their lives."
It's this level of caring that allowed me to leave my vegetarian ways. I will not eat meat from other sources, be it snobby or not, unless we thoroughly question the provider (poor soul).
