Watched it last night. It was funny, because I screamed for my wife to come in. I was like, "I met that guy three years ago at a conference in Tennessee!"

I just thank you for not jamming a needle in your eye this time (even if it was in the setup video).

I still think that the song you pick for your first dance should be a true representation of you and your true love. However, sometimes you can get stumped trying to find the perfect song. Here are a few ideas that aren't played out yet. :-)
We asked five music pros to share their favorite brand-new first dance songs that haven’t been completely overplayed.

Nearly each and every one of my love stories told includes an element about the proposal. More often than not, I get guys that were nervous because they were afraid someone would see the box the ring came in. Imagine if that box got a lot thinner, and looked more like a wallet? There's where the Clifton comes in...
Walking around the night you plan to pop the question with that awkward ring box bulging out of your back pocket is a dead giveaway. For those who intend on keeping the proposal a surprise, packaging designer Andrew Zo has created the Clifton, a ...

Growing up in the 80's, Harold Ramis was probably one of the greatest pop influences of my youth.  I think the first movie of his I ever saw was National Lampoon's Vacation. Countless others like Stripes, Caddyshack, National Lampoon's Animal House, Groundhog Day, and Back To School (as producer) have always been favorites.  Nothing will ever top the weekends I spent with my best friend where we would repeatedly watch Ghost Busters over and over, memorizing nearly every single line in the movie.  He gave me a personality that offends some, humors many, and bewilders most.  I'm going to miss seeing the things he could have still created, and I will certainly have to rewatch all those classics from the past.  Rest in peace, Mr. Ramis.
Harold Ramis was one of Hollywood’s most successful comedy filmmakers when he moved his family from Los Angeles back to the Chicago area in 1996. His career was still thriving, with "Groundhog Day" acquiring almost instant classic status upon its 1993 release and 1984's "Ghostbusters" ranking among the highest-grossing comedies of all time, but the writer-director wanted to return to the city where he’d launched his career as a Second City perfor...

These videos are great! I've know that I've been underutilizing my Traktor software, despite being a regular user since Traktor 3 was released. Due to a variety of software issues (mostly PC latency related, none really on Mac), as well as limitation of the S4 hardware, I was losing interest in the Native Instruments line. Today I use a combination of the Audio 6, X1MK2, and F1 with an external mixer - it works well, but can be a hassle sometimes. I wasn't convinced that the S8 was right for me, but your videos are starting to convince me otherwise. It seems they really have put in some thought to making this something where the need to use the PC is minimal, perhaps only for searching in most cases.

Thanks for taking the time to put these together. It has renewed my interest in the S8.... Now if the case manufacturers would build something that makes sense instead of shoehorning units into existing form factors. :-)

This is pretty amazing. You have envisioned what this album should have sounded like. I would love for them to bring you guys in for the production of the next album, because even though DM was a great album, the blend still could have been better (especially Lars' snare drum).

Keep rockin' guys. You should go far.

Know someone getting married before June 30th that still needs a ceremony officiant? Check this out: http://spencerweddings.com/pwyw/
Ceremonies are expensive. I’m guessing you already figured that out by now. But… What if you could name your own price for your officiant?

Jason Spencer was the DJ at our wedding on October 2013 in Carmel Valley. Our wedding was an international wedding where we requested French, English, Spanish and Arabic music. Jason does not speak French and Arabic and he amazingly mixed the music. One our guest attendees asked: "Where did you find this DJ? Does he speak Arabic? He is mixing the Arabic music well." In addition, every meeting we had with Jason, he was on time, on schedule and was well prepared. Everything was great. I highly recommend him.

My Husband and I were married in Yosemite National Park in October of 2011 and have been meaning to post this review. Finding a DJ was tough for both my Husband and I as our music tastes are similar but so very different regarding what we wanted for our wedding. I feel that we connected more with Jason than the other DJs that we had met with. He was very professional full of knowledge and easy to work with. He incorporated both what my Husband and I wanted, which included a different introduction song (which he is probably used to), to my Husband's serious to silly sense of humor Mother/Son dance, to the hard to find song I wanted to play for my Mother. He also incorporated what the guests requested. He did surprise me with some songs (I am a true 80's kid and love the music from then) that I am so glad he played. He also incorporated lighting for us which added so much to it all and we are extremely thankful he did that for us. It made for a memorable night for us. Thank you so much Jason!

Jason recently provided the music and master of ceremony services for our wedding and we could not have been happier! Throughout the planning process he took time to meet with us and review details such as song selections and the schedule of the day. He was silly, creative, honest, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We not only were very happy with his services the day of the wedding but also very much enjoyed working with him. During the wedding he checked in with my husband and I to assess how we were feeling about things and to keep us on schedule for events such as the bouquet toss. Our family and friends were also very complimentary with how much they liked the music that was played and with his ability to carry the party. Jason offers to introduce the bridal party with a brief biography, which our guests loved and appreciated. He also offers to narrate a "love story," about the couple and our family and friends loved this special/personal touch to the reception. Jason worked with us on pricing and we had the ability to make scheduled payments. We found him to be very reasonable for the wonderful services that we got.

My wife and I are *very* organized, detail-oriented people, and we were legitimately afraid that we wouldn't be able to find a DJ that would be able to keep up with us and deliver an experience that met our high standards. But Jason was different from the very start--truly, from the moment we had to fill out his intake form on the website, we could tell how much thought he puts into everything he does--and he stayed one step ahead of us the entire time. Though he did admit that we were the most detail-oriented couple he had ever worked with, he nevertheless managed our complex choreography seamlessly, and, among other people, we very much have him to thank for how perfect our special day turned out in the end.

Jason Spencer was everything we needed in a wedding DJ and MC - and he delivered much more than we expected. A referral from our wedding planner, Jason was a consummate professional from the beginning. He read my then-fiance and I really well, and was able to incorporate our tastes and likes into his suggestions and planning. We knew this was our guy within minutes of meeting him. Throughout the planning process, Jason was an efficient and enthusiastic communicator. He has developed a great guide for couples to follow and knows his business inside and out. I specially appreciated the fact that he looks to improve himself constantly by attending conferences and seminars about the business he is in. He put in a great deal of effort into really getting to know us as a couple and our wedding party, with great attention to detail. He is able to advise you on everything from music selection to delivering your toast. Our wedding went off without a hitch. :) Jason worked in perfect tandem with our coordinator and was as masterful as MCs could be. He read our crowd as well as he read us from the start, and had them laughing at all the right moments. He also was instrumental in making sure our dance party didn't lull and that we ended on a high note. I can't imagine having any other MC / DJ at our wedding. Jason is awesome, and gets my highest recommendations!
