Below are some issues that I have with the new layout:
First, as an Android user, the previous app was very familiar. In most any Android app, I look to the left side of the screen for the menu, or slide out menu. Moving the menu to the right-side feels very out of place to me.
Second, I don't realize the purpose of Conversations getting so much attention. I actually don't remember seeing this in either the previous versions of the app or the web interface. I completely understand that this could very well be a popular feature that my team has never taken advantage of.
