Film, Crafts, Games, Art and more! with Southwold Library for Children and their Families

Saturday 3rd February Trolls 2016, U, 1h 29min. Make a hairy troll cake, give yourself a troll hair makeover, grow yourself a cress troll and create some hairy troll art.

Thursday 15th February The Lego Batman Movie 2017, U, 102min. Make your own Lego Batman mask, build a Batmobile from Lego, create your own bat signal and try some Lego jelly.

Activities start at 10:30am Ticket Prices Under 16s £3.00 (Two carers free) Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied and Additional Adults £3.00 Refreshments available.

Saturday 3rd February 2:30pm & 7:30pm Southwold Arts Centre, St Edmunds Hall. Tickets £10 (£8 for 12s and under).
Suffolk Libraries Presents are amazing performances and cultural events recorded live and screened using top quality projection equipment.
Set in a northern mining town, against the background of the 1984/85 miners’ strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. Billy’s journey takes him out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and whole community and changes his life forever.

Date For Your Diary: Meet Crime Author Elly Griffiths. Saturday 10th February 7pm Reydon Village Hall.
Elly Griffiths is the author of the best-selling Dr Ruth Galloway Mysteries and the Stephens and Mephisto books. In 2016, she was awarded the CWA Dagger in the Library for her body of work.
Elly will be talking about her writing including her new Ruth Galloway book “The Dark Angel”. Elly will be signing copies of the book.
