Stamford Georgian Festival promises spectacular light show!

Stamford's Georgian Festival 'Bull Run' re-enactment will be even more spectacular this year, thanks to stunning light shows.

Big name businesses in South Kesteven are continuing to join the District Council's Big Clean programme!

Oldrids & Downtown in Grantham, Rutland Radio and Tesco are among those keen to support South Kesteven District's Council's campaign to raise the standard of the district's streets.

The firms have pledged to help keep a 20 metre radius of their premises litter-free and alert the council to other litter, graffiti or fly-tipping issues they see nearby. Read more: http://bit.ly/2vrlbUf

Young National Citizens' Service (NCS) participants have been congratulated for their community spirited projects across South Kesteven, including their support for projects involving The Big Clean.

As well as helping identify 'grotspot' areas that need extra attention, NCS teams have also been out and about in Bourne and Grantham collecting dozens of bags of rubbish in the towns over the last two weeks.

The team in Bourne collected more than 30 bags of rubbish around Spinney Woods in Little Bytham, while the Grantham team collected over a dozen bags in and around Dysart Road in the town. Read more: http://bit.ly/2wHYWsR
