My softball team and I went there last Friday and they had 11 beers not available so you had to chose from 7 beers to drink from. I could maybe understand this on a Wednesday but not Friday night. That's poor planning. Plus it cost $32 for 5 beers. They have a huge section for home brewing supplies but it takes up almost the whole inside of the place. Also there is a ton of kids there and a play ground at a brewery. I go to a brewery to get away from kids, I don't think kids should be allowed at a place that only serves alcohol and no food other than the food truck. The 15 of us will not be coming back. Thank you

The best homebrew supply store in Central Florida. Fresh grains, large selection and friendly staff make it worth the time it takes for me to drive there. They also have a large selection of delicious beer on tap that's made there too.

Outstanding! The gentleman that helped us (I think his name was Charlie) was great! So helpful. He really went above and beyond to make sure our next brew went well. Great place. Check it out - you won't be disappointed!

I am lucky enough to live down the street from this brewery. Their beer is fantastic and the atmosphere, especially the outdoor garden/patio, is second to none.

One of my favorite places to visit. Arik & Charlie are great wealths of brewing knowledge & can help you find what you need. Not only is it a great place to purchase ingredients for your next home brew, they breq on site and and always have something worth trying. From kombucha to root beer and sangria to beers of several styles, I don't get bored. I really like their nod to Whovians with their Sigma Ood Bruin.

Just came by for the homebrew supplies so I can't comment on the actual beers. Cheap grains, well organized hop fridge, great selection, friendly staff, etc. Came out with more supplies than I expected at a price lower than what I expected, enough said

Nice craft brew served up here. Very good selection covering many taste palates that will have all pleased and returning for more. The space is open and large so you will not feel crammed in at all. The bar top is big enough to accommodate a decent crowd and there are several table top seating around as well. They have a large outdoor seating area that has a decent amount covered so you will not be scorched by the sun. Service was just average, nothing to brag about.

Good selection of beers, ciders and wines on tap. Much to be had for beer-lovers and non-beer lovers. Trivia was also super fun, and created a casually competitive atmosphere.

Join us for Big Brew Day on Saturday, May 3rd!
Local homebrewers are invited to join us for a big brew day in the biergarten.

So far, we have members of Bay Area Barley's Angels, Tampa Bay B.E.E.R.S., and Special Hoperations confirmed to brew.

As usual, Southern will provide RO water, running water and electricity, but brewers must bring their own equipment, tables, and tents.

We will be offering a 10% discount on all ingredients for any beers brewed that day.

We will have Hot Box'd Steamed Cheeseburgers on site from 12p-3:30p, and Thai One On from 5-10p, so come hungry!

We will be joining in on the nation-wide toast at 1p EST (12p CDT).

Brewers must sign-up to reserve a spot in the biergarten.

Please contact Cindy at marketing@southernbrewingwinemaking.com to secure your spot.

Family, friends, and curious strangers are welcome to come hang out in the biergarten and watch the brewing process.

The taproom will be open and beer will be flowing all day!

After the brewing ends, we'll continue the party in the taproom with a live set from local band Monarch.

Even though we love what we do, we need to take a day off too!

When you own a small, independent business, it can be difficult to separate personal and professional life, which often means it's impossible to get a day off. We think better with a clear head and a full day of rest, so we've decided to close the shop one day a week.

Starting in July, we will be closed on Mondays. Thank you so much for understanding, and for all of your continued support.

CALL TO ARTISTS!

Southern Brewing & Winemaking is hosting our first Summer #Art Market on Sunday, May 25, from 12-5p. The market will take place in the biergarten and adjacent lot.

The intent of this art market is to encourage local and independent #artists and craftsmen to showcase (and hopefully sell!) some of their work.

We are looking for artists and craftsmen of all trades, including painting, photography, jewelry, pottery, textiles, wood working, glass blowing, jams and jellies, produce, or anything else that is #local and independent!

There is a $25 vendor fee, and vendors must provide their own tables and tents. All artists will keep 100% of their proceeds. Vendor space is limited to 30 spots.

If you are interested in participating, please send pictures of 2-3 samples of your current work and a link to your website (if applicable) to Cindy at marketing@southernbrewingwinemaking.com by no later than May 15th.

We will have local musicians playing during the event, and are looking for some local food vendors to set up as well.
