While LinkedIn is at the core of today’s sourcing, some of us log into LinkedIn first thing in the morning, stay there all day, and leave the wealth of other sites and ways for searching for professionals untouched or used little. Unless the professionals you are looking to find have to have informative profiles filled with keywords to qualify, you would find 10 times more information on various web sites outside of LinkedIn. You would be able to find contact information for whole lists of professionals at a time.
Join Master Sourcer Irina Shamaeva to go over every major method to find professionals outside of LinkedIn in the upcoming webinar. Seating is limited.
Lots has changed in Boolean search syntax and algorithms the last six months or so. Pretty much all online references are obsolete; even Google’s own help pages are falling behind. It is time to brush up on your searching skills if you haven’t lately.
This Webinar will serve as a tutorial and a basic up-to-date reference for everything you need to know about the Boolean Search Syntax to make your People Sourcing practice productive and successful. The updated version of the webinar comes with 50 (fifty!) “top” sample Boolean Strings, that will help you to create your own, and with two search syntax tip sheets included in the slides.
LinkedIn has an amazing number of ways to search across the human capital data it has accumulated. When someone says, “I have already searched on LinkedIn; can you please look elsewhere?” – chances are, there are alternative ways to go back and find more matching results.
This webinar is for those who use LinkedIn to search for professionals and want to expand their toolkit and understand the advantages and the limitations of a variety of ways of searching LinkedIn for talent. It will include an overview and a comparison of search techniques and search syntax, from searching on Google or with a basic account to LinkedIn Talent Finder to LinkedIn Recruiter.
Irina will present specific techniques on searching for people by schools, degrees, and graduation dates; job titles; target companies; locations; skills; group memberships; similarity; viewers of profiles; and more. The webinar will cover the latest shifts in the LinkedIn User Interface and ways to compensate for recently removed functionality.
Note: Some familiarity with X-raying, i.e. using the operator site: on Google or Bing is a good idea going in.
