Torrential rains in Malawi have left many Malawians, especially children at risk. With close to 200 dead and approximately 200,000 displaced, and with more rain to come, there is grave concern that these numbers will increase dramatically.

“My house did not withstand the strong rains and wind earlier this month. Since then, life is so tough for us. We have no food, and no warm or even dry clothes," said Mercy, a mother of three.

This Saturday marks the one year anniversary of Typhoon Haiyan - the deadliest typhoon to ever hit the Philippines. It destroyed thousands of homes, schools and businesses in the Tacloban region alone, and over 6,300 people in the Philippines lost their lives.

For the past year, we have worked with local communities to help #RebuildTacloban, and have provided support for vulnerable children and families.
