Jim Nelson is our Vice President and is retired from Cal Dive International, Inc. He also is a member of the Board for The Ucross Foundation, an artist colony located on a 20,000 acre working cattle ranch in Wyoming; and Volunteers Of America (VOA), a human service organization providing homeless, correctional, youth and substance abuse programs in Wyoming & Montana.

He is the founder of two pioneering enterprises known for the development of subsea equipment and marine construction techniques. It's also the largest natural oil and gas seeps in the Western Hemisphere lie in the Santa Barbara Channel. According to the California State Lands Commission, they comprise more than 1,200 of the over 2,000 active submarine seeps along the California coast.
