Maestro... Well deserved.
Earlier this year the composer Jerry Goldsmith received a posthumous Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To mark that event John Caps looks takes a look at the composer's career and legacy. As part of Jerry's Walk of Fame Caps identifies three specific ingredients that can be found in Goldsmith's best film scores. http://bit.ly/2xXrzR7

Some days I feel a bit under water too... cool picture, thanks for sharing LS...
I love this picture. Sometimes it feels like life is a little more than I can handle; like I'm below the surface struggling to get up and I can't. Life has done this to a lot of us. But imagine looking up to see a saving hand outstretched. I know many of you don't want to hear my beliefs (so this is your warning to look away) but to me Christ is hope. He understands us, loves us, and he is always there to lift us if we are willing to reach up. I've lost a lot over this last year. Easter is a reminder to me that because Christ died and was resurrected, I will see my dad and my best friend again. Everything that is unfair in life can be made right by the atonement of Christ.

RIP Roland founder and music legend Ikutaro Kakehashi. A big part of my early inspiration for digital synthesis.
