This is one of the latest styles of cargo bikes to come out of Denmark. It's called the trioBIKE. It converts well with a mid-drive BAFANG kit.

Apparently in Germany all of the bike mechanics have to go to bike school. 2 and a half years to become a basic mechanic and an extra year for the advanced qualification. It was great to have Tweety in the shop this week with her German qualifications. She gave us all a bit of schooling and broke the long held bike build record in the process. This was one of the many bikes she assembled this week. It’s the beautifully designed VALLKREE scrambler in chrome. It rides like a dream and it’s nice to know all the nuts and bolts are tight!

The DOUZE made electric with a Solar Bike mid-drive conversion kit. It's made it a lovely and practical electric bike to ride!

It was a pleasure to set up a couple of my favourite electric bikes for my friends David and Rosy for some of the first for the new year. These were the Orbea Carpe 30 - a lovely bike with great riding geometry and hydraulic disc brakes. Rosy's was the Breezer uptown. A stylish ladies bike. Both are regular bikes we convert here in our new shop in Freo and I hope to do a bunch more this year!

This is Black Betty! A great 8 speed bike with a nice little baby seat put on top.  It uses the Solar Bike long range rack kit with a rear mini-motor.  Great electric bike for ladies with or without children!

This is a Solar Bike conversion kit put on a Zeitbikes shorthaul box bike. For those well travelled, you would have seen these types of bikes carrying kids, shopping and all manner of other items around many a beautiful European city. The lads down at South Beach Cycles in South Fremantle are fans of this type of bike and are the guys to see if you fancy getting one and having one of our electric kits put on it to make it much easier to pedal.

This is the Boda Boda made into an electric bicycle by the gentlemen from South Beach Cycles in South Fremantle.  It's a brilliant option for ladies wanting to take their children around in a safe, easy, healthy and eco friendly manner!

This is a very good review from Graeme, a customer who set up a Giant Cross City with the Solar Bike tube kit.  He has put in lots of time to add technical details about speed, power, weight and their relationships and how it affects electric bicycle riding.  Please read ahead if you are interested in technical aspects of ebikes.

Lovely to get a review from Doug, who assembled his kit and is now getting around famously. He turned 80 last year and this has helped him to get onto the bike a lot more.
