worst stay we ever had, pics were misleading. can't get to the cabin because two others are built in front of it. covered in spider webs. wires hanging. everything was falling apart, literally could see through to the outside because of window frame coming apart from the cabin. so dusty that it almost hurt to breath. asked for different cabin and they said we would have to pay more even for a cheaper cabin because we stayed in the cabin and when we checked in they had all left for the day so couldn't have gotten ahold of them anyway. pieces of the railing were missing on porch out and my daughter almost fell through. They said they couldn't and wouldn't do anything and no refunds and that we needed to leave the office or they would make us leave the office. the manager is the biggest prick you will ever meat, all the staff for that matter are absolutely ridiculous and rude.

This was our first stay with Colonial Properties and we enjoyed it very much. It is difficult to judge places like this because you really only see the inside of the cabin you rent. We had no problems with the whole rental process, the cleaning folks were there slightly past our check in time, but it was not a big deal and was nice to know that the hot tubs were emptied cleaned and sanitized before being freshly filled for us. The extra 15 minutes they were there they gave us the low down on the best local bbq to eat. The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean, and a good value. Be sure to check out the coupon amenities values you get with the rentals, the savings are more substantial than I thought they would be. A free adult admission with my purchase saved me $45 at the local riding stable. I won't hesitate to book with Colonial again.

Stayed at bear point for four nights. Soon as I booked my debit card number was stolen. Coincidence or not idk. After the first night of our vacation I called to inform them the sliding glass door in the room didn't lock, all I was told was a note would be made (ghee I feel safe). The headboard had not been dusted in a very long time. No light switches for the lights you have to reach up and pull the cords on the fan. We got to use the hot tub on our second night, there are no steps to get in and out of it (I'm 5'7 and had trouble). Was told they are not responsible for that. The water had a fishy smell to it that stayed with us even after we showered. The cabin has a cute barrel water bucket out front, except it doesn't empty and is a mosquito breeding ground. We couldn't step out even to go to the car without being bitten. The zika virus is in the area the cabin is located. For the price i expected better and much better customer service. If management would like to argue the point i have it all on video. I will never use this company again!

Cabin A Lover's Paradise is VERY outdated. The tube tv and vcr in the living were just starters. All appliances were yellowed from age and the stove was white but the oven door is almond. 3 other cabins are within a stones throw away, no privacy at all. Spend your money elsewhere.

We just checked out of our cabin, walk in the woods, and we were sad to go. My husband enjoyed our stay and had a peaceful experience. We were happy to find extra pillows and blankets if needed and a relaxing atmosphere. I was very happy with the stay and play pass that offered tickets to places we had already planned to go! We already recommended you to friends who plan on visiting Tennessee soon.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER!!! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT RENTING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! booked a cabin one year ago, only to find out today when we showed up to get the keys that the property had been sold a year ago and they were just now notifying us. The house/cabin they offered us was totally unacceptable. Holes in the walls, big spider webs in every window, wallpaper peeled off the walls and a moldy wicker chair in the bedroom. Honestly, I could go on but you get the idea. We took pictures of the deplorable conditions and went back to the main office only to be told we would be given a refund and they were under no obligation to give us another property. After much discussion several staff members got angry at us and were not interested in finding a resolution for their mistake. My gut tells me this is a sham operation, taking your money without guaranteeing you a cabin then you show up and oh so sorry it was a breakdown in communication. We ended up staying at the lodge at buckberry creek which is 5 star which I will leave them a glowing most deserving review. I cannot really in good conscious give colonial a one star but there isn't anything less. They are a ZERO AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR PROPERTIES OR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Stayed in the River rendezvous. Had to leave a day early because could not sleep in the bed another night. It was like sleeping on a rock. A rock may have been softer! No boxsprings just a hard mattress on wooden slats. The comforter smelled so bad we did not even use it. Also very disappointed that the ceiling fan chain was so far up could not reach to turn it on. Upstairs was so hot even with air down you that could not use the second restroom if you wanted to. Water pressure was not good and smelled funny, I am sure this was not something they could control though.

We rented Cuddly Bear and we're completely satisfied with the quaint luscious atmosphere and privacy. The cabin was beautiful and we had a wonderful honey moon vacation there. If we would have any changes it would be the steepness of the driveway as it caused difficulty at times. other than that 5 star!!
