Why are so many churches losing members?

Perhaps you haven't noticed to losses. Sometimes we get so linked in with a local church body that we fail to notice even those problems within out own membership.

So I ask again, "Why are so many churches losing members?"

Just a bit disapointed with American Christian leaders. In a nation that is quickly turning away from God, and with only two choices in the Presidential election, why are we delaying in placing our support behind the only man willing to move us away from this Christless current government leadership plan? Yet, it would be nice to have a fully dedicated Christian leader in this nation. But wake up. We are not going to get that, not with Trump and not with HRC. One thing is certain, HRC will continue to press for an open world leadership, leadership that will envoke even more resistance to prayer in government activities, freedom to be Christain, and the right to proclaim America as a Christian nation by the very nature of birth.

Are you proud to be an American. SHARE

After watching a mess of news channels, I have determined that fairness is in order. Isn't it time to let a panel of average Joes sit around and discuss how reporters should behave and how they should perform their duties?

In the "new" political teamup, we hear Mr. Ted Cruz saying that Donald Trump cannot win the national election. In the same breath, Mr. Cruz, a loser in the current Republican race, declare that he can win that same national election.

Translation...
If you permit me to lie, cheat and steal your votes for a sufficient length of time, I will prove that I can win an "honest" competition.

Hey...
Just because someone knows how to play dirty does not remove any of the dirt.

Reflections of a Sojourner

In a world filled with an abundance of medical knowledge, comfort-based technology, and global communication-resources wherefore comes this image of perpetual suffering and pain? Why have we not resolved the ache, the needs, and the cries of a broken society?

Using a mystical vision of Christian principles, Christian author RM Harrington examines why a world fully equipped with the right technology cannot resolve the issue of perpetual hunger, pain and suffering. This 78-page booklet ponders the mind of a spiritual sojourner, a visitor to this world, a stranger in a strange land, a Christian who struggles with the failures in modern day Christianity.

If a man had full vision into the world of spirits and devils, what might his mind’s eye perceive? If a Christian had complete understanding into God’s eternal plan for absolute goodness among all mankind, what might become the ultimate goal of that Christian?

As a people and as a nation, Americans need change. Yet the change we seek is mired beneath the nature of human desires. Active, healthy and Godly correction requires honest and sincere labor from dedicated and involved Christians. Yet we let those who promote depravity retain the judgment over justice. And, so long as immorality contains even a measure of financial profit, hunger, no flesh will seek to fully eliminate the cause and effect of wickedness.

I began while residing at Butner Federal Medical Center in Butner, North Carolina. FMC is a US federal hospital dedicated to the treatment and housing of the adult male prison populace. In prison, the medical as well as the incarceration needs and requirements of those who do battle with the various short-term and long-term diseases, illnesses, and mental disorders that plague the human race are managed by prison guards and professional prison staff members. This service, by nature, places together inmates from all around the USA. FMC houses men of variable security classification. The inmates range from low-level minor offenders to camp-eligible short timers to maximum confinement prison lifers.

In observing this system, I have come to grasp the major failure in man-initiated solutions to a sin-induced sickness. In prison, men come and go. Some serve their time. Others end up listed in the prison records under the heading, “escape by death.” Such is the matter of our social sickness. Such is the modern method for addressing this segment of suffering and death. Most all those who exit prison eventually return to the same previously established patterns of hurt, pain, and suffering.

I pray this book at least touch those who already seek to follow Christ Jesus, those who seek to learn and to help change this broken system.

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain,” (Psalm 127:1 kjv).

Note to RNC...
Just because the "rules" permit Ted Cruz to pick voter pockets does not mean that voters are too stupid to know what happened...
Hey people, the system is permitting the theft of your vote.

RNC response to the Trump voters who begin to see the light and ask what gives you the right to override my vote: "Because we say so."

Sorry, RNC leadership. You are not my dad.

When these things come together with the right sense of biblical balance, Christians can begin an effective role in the healing of worldwide sickness, pain and suffering. Furthermore, when governed by the thoughts, purposes and intents of God, Christians can also become a light at the top of the hill. Right teachings follow a right mindset.

We must take caution that we do not linger at rest overly long. Even good fellowship can become a point of temptation. If not careful, Christians can come to believe that a Christian walk need not include labor, service or suffering. Therein the voice of error begins to consume our witness and our labors. Drifting at unawares, we may fall into perpetual rest, our purpose lost within a mental haze of brotherhood, radio prophets, video sermons, and assorted spiritual awareness books – each of which has a proper value when taken with biblical discernment and godly moderation, yet each also capable of crippling the good fight of faith when permitted to replace diligent Scripture study, life application, and a personal service to man and God.
