Cut many corners with my books, ignored documentation I compiled for them. If you know nothing about bookkeeping perhaps a good company for you, but if you have some experience and know the red flags for an audit, their work is clearly deeply flawed and lazy. They are also not accountable to any sort of licensing board, and they ignored my greivance with them in a condecending and sexist way. My issues, which were well documented and germane were never escalated, and I was told they were "drawing a line in the sand" with me. My accountants and my bookkeeper spent hours undoing their shoddy work and I spent hours adding in documentation I sent them that they ignored. They also charge well above market price (roughly $100 an hour for non-licensed non-professional services) in a market that does not justify it. The most telling sign of a lack of professionalism is that they do not stand by their work or want to have done a good job, suppose they are off snowboarding. I lost about 1.6 k to them with no legal recourse as their mostly internet based business is across state lines and limits one's ability to take them to small claims. For perspectives sake, I am an MD who has run my own practice and my own payroll and books for over 10 years, so I have dealt with many financial service professionals and these guys were the worst I ever came across. Not sure who padded their reviews here, I doubt their legitimacy. Feel free to contact me for details.

I found a video on Youtube which helped me in knowing how to enter my daily sales into Quickbooks and I had another question so I tried emailing SLC Bookkeeping. I had an answer from Matt within two hours and he gave me a couple of different options to answer my question! I was so pleased! What could have been a long, drawn out process was fixed within a few hours and my books are running smoothly. Thank you so much! If anyone is looking for a bookkeeper, I would definitely recommend SLC Bookkeeping!

I have been so very pleased with Salt Lake City Bookkeeping. Joe's work is impeccable. I feel confident that my books are in capable hands which frees me up to spend my time on the creating programs and serving my clients. Come tax time my books are in order and my accountant can do my taxes with ease.

Matt Roberge was amazing, efficient, and knowledgable for all my bookkeeping questions. I was impressed by watching his online Quickbook videos and contacted him immediately. His response rate and willingness to help me is something I haven't found in a long time. If I could give him 10 stars I would! I highly recommend Matt and SLC Bookkeeping.

I'm a business owner and new real estate investor and familiar with quickbooks. I can navigate it alright, but property requires areas of qb that I'm not familiar with. I searched youtube and blogs to try to find out how I could put property into qb and came across posts from Salt Lake City Bookkeeping. It sounded like they really knew what they were doing and after attempting to implement the information, I still had questions with my limited knowledge of quickbooks. I ended up contacting Joe, and he was phenomenal to work with. He took a glance at my books, helped with refining them and explained in language I could understand, what had happened. I'm on the right track now, and because of their expertise, I will definitely come back again when I purchase more property. I would highly recommend property owners work with them to ensure their assets are tracked the right way and tax time is smooth sailing!
