Since there were witnesses thr Police should charge him with assault regardless of whether he presses charges.  Remember folks they would do it if it was me or you so why should he get away with it!  Unless you believe his money and celebrity makes him above the law!

Just leave the cabin door open so there is no locking device,on it, and stewards take it in turns to sit outside or inside it ,to monitor the coming and goings off the pilots, or put a device attached to both pilot seats ,that if they either one of them make a mistake could be mthesitised quickly.. ...

It's incredibly difficult to get to the #Germanwings  plane crash site. Sky's Katie Stallard made the eight-hour trek for this report http://goo.gl/H7hZDp

Sky news? I am sure you are aware by now that yes he may have had a pilots license (to fly alone or with friends and family on a private plane) but why has it still not addressed that he did not have an airliner or even commercial pilots license? And that he was not qualified to even apply for one?

They sing pop songs to 11 year old girls, but somehow think they're rock gods and should be taken seriously. I really don't understand how this seems to be the leading news story everywhere, when there is much more important things on the agenda!

The doors are perfect as they are. The cockpit members have to be able to lock the door from the inside, even if the pilot is outside.
The door works like the following:
The pilot can ask from the outside for the door to be opened. The co-pilot can open it by pushing a button within the next 3 seconds. If he doesn't do that the door stays closed.
The pilot can also enter his code into a keypad to open the door from the outside. This will activate at 30 second override counter inside the cockpit which you saw in this video. The co-pilot has to actively push this lock-button every time the pilot wants to open the door from the outside if he wants the door to stay locked, otherwise it will open.
A knocked out co-pilot wouldn't push this button and a locked out pilot could enter this way. In this instance the co-pilot actively locked out the pilot every time he tried to enter the cockpit.

Or could this be a cover up for something going wrong with the plane. It's easier to blame the dead.
