Kinda pricey but skool offers such a unique asian fusion experience. Tried the uni flan and squid ink spaghettina based on other yelp reviews and definitely wasn't steered wrong. In a past visit, i was also able to try the edamame burger (lunch menu), a great option if you don't eat meat or if, like me, you just want a change. Plus, the free sake with yelp check-in doesn't hurt ;) (have to get a main and appetizer)

It's a bit out of the way and in an interesting area (mix of industrial, commercial and people loitering), but getting weekend brunch reservations has been amazingly easy for me. Plus, the $1 oysters for brunch is a great way to get the meal started.

SOOOO delicious but SO pricy. Came here for a team dinner on a Thursday night as a group of about eight. We had a dog with us so we were seated on the patio but our server was quick to grab a heat lamp, blankets, pillows, etc. to keep us comfortable and warm. She even brought biscuits and water for the dog! We shared a few starters and then all had individual entrees before sharing some desserts: Uni flan - 5-stars. Creamy flan with great uni flavor, sweet salmon roe on top, crunchy toast. Good sized portion, I'd definitely get this again. Shishito peppers - 3-stars. Served with Bonita flakes on top, tasty, but this dish wasn't anything special. Mushroom fries - 3-stars. Quite a bit of meat to the mushrooms and tasty sauce on the side, but also nothing quite special. Crispy salmon skin - 4-stars. Fried to perfection, not overly fishy, but crunchy and fatty. Small portion for our group though. Salad Nicoise - 4-stars. Untraditional Nicoise salad but large portion and perfectly cooked tuna. I liked the cauliflower and other seasonal veggies thrown in. Blue cheese cheesecake - 5-stars. Perfectly savory dessert, subtle blue cheese flavors complemented by pear and rosemary. I really enjoyed most of the food but not at the price it came out to. This will definitely be a once-in-awhile type place.

Best weekend brunch for miles, and in a wonderful space as well. I totally don't understand why people wait for over an hour at Plow, Serpentine or Mission Rock Resort with this place around. I just wish they opened earlier on weekends. Please open at 10am, please!

Great fusion asian restaurant but in a very shady neighborhood. Make sure you leave your car home and take an uber to Skool

We had an enjoyable early dinner here on the whole. The Uni flan is mentioned in a lot of reviews, but disappointed me a little - I had not realized it is a cold dish. I would have preferred it warm, and the bread that comes with it could also use a little more attention. However, the Squid Ink Spaghettina was very flavorful and satisfying, with good spice in the soup, and nice on a cold evening.
