Design an office that inspires creativity. Choose elements that make you feel good - perhaps for you it's a soft comfortable chair, while others might need more structure. Whenever possible, choose natural lighting. You should also make sure you have enough space available, thus avoiding physical clutter that can cause anxiety.

Task-specific rooms are helpful in removing a little bit of the chaos from our lives. For instance, a living room that's not open to the kitchen and/or dining room allows for enjoyment of media or family time without distractions.

Designating a room for a single purpose is a great way to reduce physical and mental clutter in your living space.
