Our Safety Director, Brian Webster, received a Certificate of Excellence for Zero Lost Workdays in 2015. This certificate was awarded as part of the Chapter Safety Awards in the AGC’s Texas Building Branch division via the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program. Since 1926, the NASA program has offered AGC members annual opportunities to evaluate their safety record by comparing theirs with those of other member firms of similar size and construction type. We’re proud to have been awarded this certificate in recognition of our safety program and commitment to safe job sites.

All 6 of our jobsites temporarily stopped work yesterday to observe the Safety Stand-Down in partnership with TEXO, OSHA, NIOSH, and NORA. With falls being the leading cause of death in the construction industry, we used this opportunity to have an open discussion with 170+ of our workers about the four main causes of these fatalities and how to prevent them. We used this Stand-Down, as well as all of our regular weekly safety meetings, to keep everyone's focus on safety.

Stopped by our jobsite at Harris Methodist Southwest Fort Worth last week, and the new Professional Office Building (POB2) is coming along great. This 5-story, approximately 120,000SF facility will complete in 2016.
