Saint Joseph’s is pleased to announce that the Green Community Fund, a subsidiary of its Green Revolving Fund (GRF), is now accepting project submissions from members of the College. This focus on smaller projects that may have much longer payback timeframes—or even no financial payback—is designed to foster awareness and understanding of sustainability among members of the College’s community and empower them to develop their own solutions.

In the October 2015 issue of Maine magazine, President Jim Dlugos and Pearson’s Town Farm manager Michial Russell talk about how the College’s current commitment to wellness and sustainability relates to the President’s Strategic Plan for future growth and success. The article, “Saint Joseph’s College: Educating, Farming, and Planning for the Future on the Shores of Sebago Lake” by Dr. Lisa Belisle, touches on the College’s Mercy traditions, its innovative career networking program Connections, and its “farm-to-fork” dining philosophy as key components to what make, and will continue to make, Saint Joseph’s great. Read it here: http://themainemag.com/play/wellness/2811-saint-josephs-college.html.
