Great park if you love thrill rides. Bizarro and now Wicked Cyclone are the main reasons to go as they are AMAZING. Pretty pricey food though. Oh and by the way, DON'T GO ON THE WEEKENDS. Other than that, a great park!

I decided to go to Six Flags New England because it's closer than Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey) and boy let me tell you, that was a mistake. Most of the rides are weaker or terrible 'clones' of the NJ park's rides. Further, Flashback and Mind Eraser hurt so badly that they should give Advil for free after the rides. To make matters worse, the whole season pass system botched up. I had to go to guest services, to the season pass booth, and back to the guest services booth, simply to be told that the systems had a problem and that they needed to correct the issue to give me my season passes in plastic form. Which, by the way, could not be done immediately of course. I'll have to return to them on my next trip, if there is one. Here's the great part. I was given a free 'get on a ride fast' card, much like the flash pass but a one-time use only. I was told to use the exit ramp to my ride of choice. Of course after I got to the top, I was told to go back down through the exit, and come up through the flash pass lane instead. Does anyone here bother to understand their jobs?! The staff is terribly unenthusiastic as it is! I lost about an hour to an hour and a half dealing with all this crap. I swear, the best part of this park? The people in the cartoon suits. Really. They were ultra friendly and went WELL out of their way to get people to smile. Personally, I think it's sad when your theme park is reduced to this. That being said, Bizarro, Wicked Cyclone, and Batman were great rides, although Bizarro and Batman are still weaker than their alternate-park counterparts. Too bad Goliath was shut down for the day, and too bad my favorite Houdini ride is disabled so they can slap a horror theme all over what WAS a great tribute. If all this wasn't enough to really ruin my day, only three of the roller coasters in the entire park are BARELY setup for larger bodied people, those rides being Batman, Flashback and Mind Eraser. Essentially, the rides that use shoulder harnesses and not lap-bars. My friend could not ride anything other than those. New Jersey's park however is much better adapted to larger people, though admittedly still needs work. On NJ's rides, the inner seats on 4 person rows, or the back of a 'cart', support larger than average people. So with that known, if you have a larger friend, this is NOT the theme park to go to. Don't let them waste their money. I think I'll hold off and go to the NJ park next time. The rides are better, especially El Toro, and so are the staff. $4.50 bottles of soda, $4.25 bottles of water. The water fountains taste like chemicals. I think this park is secretly promoting dehydration unless you empty your wallets. The soda I understand. The water? Not so much. Insanity.

The most disgusting park i have ever been to....and that includes traveling carnivals!! the bathrooms were overflowing with waste, when i notified a staff member working the area, he said "it happens, im busy...let someone else know if its that bad" The staff are all young teens who don't give a crap about anything. In the Looney tune area for little kids, one ride operator (must have been about 17yo) was talking to another staff member (also a teen) about having sex with his girlfriend the nite before....i mean seriously?? I told him there are kids here, and he just laughed and said "oh...sorry" then continued the conversation like i wasn't there. We saw park guests with T-Shirts that said "I EAT ASS" on the front of them.....not on but i counted 8 different people before the day was over.....i thought Six Flags had a policy of not admitting people with obscenities on their shirts into the park?? This place is not family friendly at all.....i can go on and on, from staff members letting kids jump the rails to cut lines, to staff members at vending stations telling customers "what the hell do you want me to do for you...figure it out im busy".....i couldn't make this stuff up if i tried. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE VISIT THE PARK. we had a much nicer experience at Lake Compounce...think we will stick to that.

I wouldn't know what to enjoy i havent been able to go seeing as the tellers like to explain one thing on the phone and another in person and their offers very from park to park why they would offer 9.99 at every park for an entire month for guest pass and 29.99 at this park is ridiculous misleading and a waste of gas also extremely disapointing to a 4 and 2 year old child who have their hearts set on going. So to you Six Flags New England thank you for causing us to waste an obsene amount of money for season passes only to waste more of our money!

I took my daughter and her friend yesterday. They had a great time of course but I did not. Not only is the pricing of the tickets outrageous. The worst part of the experience were by far the people working there. No enthusiasm and beyond stupid. Eating at Johnny Rocket's was a horrendous experience. I'm not sure how you can screw up an order when there are four items on the menu. That takes talent.

Each year I noticed these parks try to add an additional attraction nobody seems to notice that. I suggest Get a season pass if you cant afford one straight out they havr payment plans and its a thing to do on a slow lazy day, Or a weekend family getaway. It's not cheap it also isnt a cheap experience if you want cheaper do lake quassy and get what you pay for. In summer especially August I find it gets really crowded and lines are 1+ hrs their solution is to get a flash pass... Nothings cheap these days Its annoying that people only notice the bad, nothing is handed to you guys anymore keep up with the times.

The staff operating the rides are children themselves. Had people cutting lines (All ethnic races of course) and the staff did nothing about it, even when it happened right in front of them. At the floom ride one staff member threw the middle finger at her co worker as a joke right in front of all the families waiting in line....lol AMAZING!! Lines were big but that was expected, what was not expected was closing the park rides randomly during the day for some storms that were too far away to notice. at one point it was hot, bright, and sunny roughly 1pm as the park shut down for a storm passing slowly north of us about 30 miles away......never saw a single cloud over us at all but everything shut down for over an hour!!! Cherry on the cake was we had extended hours passes, a small rain cell passed through at 9pm and the park closed for the day!!! as we were leaving the parking lot the skys cleared....this place sucks. If you live in NE, go to Canobie lake park instead.

If you expect to go to any amusement park in the summer and not wait in long lines, then I suggest you stay home. Of course in the summer Six Flags will have long lines. Luckily, I went on a day (Thursday August 13th) and the ride waits were not bad (an hour and twenty minutes was my longest wait time and it was for the most popular ride- Bizarro). Some of the staff does come off rude. I was ordering a soda and apparently using the soda machine is too much of an inconvience for them. Ride staff was enthusiastic and energetic. The park was not dirty, but beware that there are many bees who hang around the trash bins. The rides are very fun, exciting, and thrilling. Prices are high. I personally do not think it is worth the price of the "skip the line" pass. You can easily spend $120 on one day at the park. Keep an open mind, be patient, and don't let the price ruin your experience.

Hi I wanted to ask if it's possible to get permission to film on rides throughout the park and if it is how do I get permission? I have heard that people have emailed you before hand to film is that true? Also if it is, is here any other way to get permission?

+Six Flags New England You guys, R.M.C, and Alan Schike must have been so proud and filled with pride when you guys saw that train running through it's course. Although I miss the original Cyclone I think that Wicked Cyclone was the perfect replacement. Although I wish that at some point I could've ridden the Cyclone with it's original first drop and swooping incline in to another small drop, at the time it must have pulled wicked lateral g forces and the ejector negative g thrills. But that overbank after the drop looks uber-fun.
