had the good fortune to hear vance feldman give an overview of ForeverScape last night.  it's a single-artist, grid-based work of art, done on paper and scanned in, turned into a web site for navigating.  very sito-esque!
Reality Patrol: To Connect an Oeurve. The ForeverScape is meticulously detailed, never-ending hand-illustrated psychedelic visual journey. Politics, religion, body image, natural resource allocation and the calamity of urban life are a few of the topics woven into the visionary landscape. It consists of hundreds of interconnected pages that weave together in multiple dimensions.

Multi-touch public API art for Portland. I have ideas for some original art "plug ins" for this, as well as a megafinger Gridcosm traversal framework.
The Vision. TUIO Flow. We're creating a space full of interactive art that all responds to touch input coming from a single source in the room. We'll do this by providing a stream of TUIO data which provides a standard way of describing touches over a network.

collab-art via code

very interesting and clever project for manipulating images by way of an open API.   thanks to +Ed Stastny via +Milan Loveless
Create art with everyone. This project encourages developers of all skill levels to build small, focused code projects called services to manipulate images files in amazing ways. Services are created using only two API calls; the rest of the implementation is up to you.

our little artist website commune is seeking new land to settle on.  do you have a slice of the cloud to donate?  help lay the groundwork for our next 20 years!  host SITO.org and put a smile on the faces of (possibly) dozens of visitors each month.

humbled and thrilled to learn that SITO's collaborative Synergy projects were chosen as the first lesson by the art historian +Thomas Dreher in his series on NetArt.

if my google-translation-by-way-of-chrome-extension is to be trusted, i think that is a reference to the OTIS vs Otis debacle. [edit] or not.  :)  i guess i somehow missed the first "los angeles".

well, it would make sense to any sane person that the only possible reason they would be raising a fuss was because we were in the same city.
