Yoga is what you make it!!

-At some point in our lives, we were all more flexible, participated in sports, gymnastics, or dance, etc. Yoga will help you recapture that time in your life when you were at your most active and most fit!

I always give variations so you can make it your own practice!

This class is a great way to end your week and get energized for your weekend! Learn how the correct alignment principles make all the difference in getting the most out of your yoga practice! I teach you how to break down simple to hard poses with using props and holding poses longer to make sure you are getting the best results with correcting your posture and working the muscles deeper.

Do you know how and why you would use props to practice Warrior III? With this being a more advanced pose, it is important to feel where you should be with alignment and build up strength before coming into the full pose without props.
In the class I teach how to break down simple to hard poses with using props and holding poses longer to make sure you are getting the most out of your practice.

Benefits of Warrior III Pose- strengthens the whole back side of the body, including the shoulders, hamstrings, calves, ankles, and back. It also tones and strengthens the abdominal muscles. Warrior III improves balance, posture, and full-body coordination.

The holidays are a time for joy, family, and gratitude. And although we do our best to avoid it…stress.
We all could use some time to de-stress, lower anxiety and calm the mind from the effect of the holidays. Over the years of teaching, I have seen that taking time for ourselves is one of the first things we let go this time of year.

Even when life gets busy, it’s the little things you add to your daily routine that can make a big difference. Here are two poses that can help you de-stress and calm the mind:

Feeling tired or just can't wind down to go to sleep? When taking your legs up the wall in these three different yoga poses, it acts as an energy reversal.
