On Saturday 24th September a seminar is being held by SEQ Catchments that will provide practical information about how to identify rare plants and animals on the Gold Coast.

It's being held in Austinville at the Mt Nimmel Hall from 9am.

Not quite the Gold Coast, but if you are heading up to Brisneyland, this would definitely be worth checking out.

After 1,400 spray paint cans, Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) (6–14 February) has our city’s facelift well on track. BSAF founders, David Don and Lincoln Savage, sought to “offer a feast for the mind, ears, body and soul” with live painting displays from over 50 street artists. The 25+ walls completed for BSAF have inspired The Good Guide to curate a street art trail, showcasing a sample of public artworks around Brisbane. So lace-up your wal...

Finally, we're collecting some useful data about sharks' habits, and a crowdfunding campaign to boot. I'm in!
Researchers hope to reveal the feeding habits of great white sharks by attaching video cameras to their dorsal fins.

Maybe I will start a new community "CSS disaster of the day"*

* I know, it isn't really a CSS issue, but it is a catchy title.

Hey all, I have an ATTiny85 development board. When I plug USB in to my WIndows 10 computer I hear the usual sound for USB connected, then it makes the disconnected sound.

If I plug an etherten in on the same cable it connects OK and stays connected i.e. there is nothing wrong with the cable or port.

I have installed drivers for the IDE - not that I think this is the problem, it is prior to the IDE.

Any suggestions on a solution for this or am I going to have to upload via Arduino?

This may be a silly question, but did you try asking the Ebay seller for help?

Yeah, odds are slim to none they can solve any user problems.... but it can be fun to try asking and see what they say.

Great place, the owner Raj was most helpful. Hotel is close to the clock tower, markets and not far from train station. Lash out and get the room on the top floor with the outstanding views of the fort. Wonderful!
