[UPDATE] Thanks for the ongoing answers, to stem more of the same, this is solved - https://arduino.stackexchange.com/questions/32937/win10-pcs-wont-see-attiny-boards [/UPDATE]

I bought some ATtiny boards on ebay but I can't get my computers to see them. When I plug them in I get the USB connected sound then a couple of seconds later it gives the USB unplugged sound. [UPDATE] This is normal behaviour, see comments for link to Stack Exchange post with a more detailed solution. [/UPDATE]

The power light stays on and the LED blinks, I assume it has the blink sketch already loaded.

I have added the drivers to the IDE but I reckon the problem is before that, something to do with the Win10 PC even seeing it. I have two versions of the board, one with a USB socket and one with a USB plug, neither work.

I've looked around for solutions with no joy, I have tried everything I can think of.

Hoping one of the more clever people here might point me in the right direction.

ATtiny85 is not a USB-capable chip. There are hacks like V-USB but they're really messy and may not work properly. Depends a lot on OS, USB host chip, hubs, etc... You'd be far better off using a proper USB-CDC bridge chip like an FT232, CP2013, or similar

Google photo-awesome meets the Pushkar Camel Fair - this is the view of street activity from a rooftop restaurant.

Today, thanks to the full moon, is the big day of holiness, there will be tens of thousands of people on the streets which are being converted into a big one way loop - note the fencing construction.

This is a good read. Be sure to read the follow up and also the article that inspired it, assumptions about user's names.
Over the past couple of years I have spent a lot of time debugging other engineers’ test code. This was interesting work, occasionally frustrating but always informative. One might not immediately...

+Tim Malseed I have just upgraded specifically for the Chromecast functionality but I can't get it to happen.
I can cast Netflix, Pandora, YouTube etc from this device so it works.

When I try to cast Shuttle it connects to the TV and shows the song screen for about .5 seconds then reverts to the shuttle screen. Music continues to play on my Samsung ST310 tablet.

Any ideas? I hope I haven't wasted my $2 ;o)

We think we are so important, but humans are less than specks of dust in the universe...

Earth, our home planet is the fifth largest planet in our solar system and the only planet we know of where life exists. Even though Earth seems large to us, it is actually a tiny spec in the vast expanse of the universe. Here are 7 space facts that will make you feel very small: http://nasa.tumblr.com/post/136762377389/7-facts-that-will-make-you-feel-very-small

This place is worth a visit to see the extraordinary amount of work that goes Into to a hand made rug. The manager was really helpful giving me a complete tour and explaining the processes. Amazing.

Third time at Paramount. R400 for a clean, light airy room. The rooftop restaurant likely has the best views in Pushkar, if only they didn't play Kenny G :(

Wonderful views of the fort from the rooftop or a very romantic garden at street level. Excellent food, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Be sure to visit the stepwell just down the street.
