Accelerating Explosive Intelligence

This is my NymWars slanted profile. I might modify it, demilitarise it, in a few years when I finally feel safe.

I am an artistic existentialist, not a business or organization. I am one person. I'M A REAL PERSON. I am an individual. Singularity Utopia is the name I commonly go by in real life

I preferred to be identified in an gender neutral sense, but if I am pushed into gender-identification then the female designation is correct.

I am not looking for debate therefore if you seek debate you are not welcome. I am looking for a meeting of minds. I want to network with people who share my views completely. I often feel excruciating despair. I need to avoid depressing people. I seek only agreement and support regarding the acceleration of technological utopia, but I do sometimes engage in debate.

For technology news you need to add the following two Pages to your circles:

Singularity 2045.

Post-Scarcity Warriors.

You should also join the Singularity Thinkers community.

Singularity Utopia is my personal profile thus reasonably often I'll express personal opinions on a wide variety of issues not directly relevant to the Singularity, but all my opinions are based on the themes of intelligence, technology, or the universe. Many of my personal posts can be controversial therefore you should NOT add me to your circles if you are likely to be offended by strong and contentious opinions. If you want pure Singularity-posts (hard science and news) then go to the above mentioned two pages.

I am the one and only Singularity Utopia. I am prominently known in the Singularity-Transhuman community. For example I have been mentioned and quoted in the book "Invent Utopia Now - transhumanist suggestions for the pre-Singularity era" by Hank Pellissier. Big names within the Singularity community know me as Singularity Utopia, which is apparent in this article regarding an email I received from Ray Kurzweil. I also created the favicon (not the actual logo) for the site

My profile picture is a real representation of me, it's a mind self-portrait. My mind is more real than my body.

All the ART on my profile is totally my own, there are no copyright violations.

I am renowned for being a staunch advocate of Post-Scarcity and freedom (utopia). I am dedicated to enhancing global Post-Scarcity awareness. Here is an articleabout Post-Scarcity, which was published in 2011.

Sadly due to my outspoken nature I often attract haters, which makes me unhappy, but hatred of utopia will be transcended via logical and rational discourse. Sometimes people wrongly state the Singularity is a religion, for example I was personally mentioned in a religious context here on H+ (see the section: Personal Revelations of the Singularity).

I am an atheist thus it is tiresome refuting accusations of religiosity but I am steadily making progress. The Singularity is actually a very atheist phenomenon, it's the opposite of religion.

The Singularity is a massive explosion of intelligence, which will radically transform the universe. Picture a truly astronomical event of totally mind-blowing proportions; this is what the Singularity is. Nanotechnology, AI, and Stem Cells, and other similar fields will create total perfection. Existence will be flawless. Everyone will be happy. We are progressing quicker each year. Despite our progress towards perfection I often make typos, please ignore my typos.

How I define myself...

I'm a Utopian. A "Utopian" is someone who seeks to accelerate the arrival of technological utopia. Post-Scarcity (PS) means everything will be free due to a total abundance of intelligence and power. There will be no scarcity of the good things in life. Products and services only cost money due to scarcity. Everything will be free for everyone, it will be utopia. There are many other ways I can define myself, dependent on my mood. Here is another description:

I'm a self-defined superlative mind-explosion expert, located in Cyberspace, specializing in Post-Scarcity awareness via instantiations of Singularity activism. Acutely aware of the Self-Fulfilling-Prophecy phenomenon, I rebel against the benighted mediocrity of our stupid world. I can be provocative, I could be more diplomatic, but I'm always very aware of consequences thus all my actions are based on very sound reasoning even if my blunt truths aren't initially endearing.

To signify the law-abiding nature of all my internet communications, regarding all my online activity, to avoid misunderstandings, this statement you are reading associates the following disclaimer symbol with all my posts, and other online activities, even in cases where the disclaimer is omitted: ~^~

Bragging rights
I am a two times NymWars survivor. First during the early days of Google+ (2011) I successfully appealed a G+ user-name suspension, and again in 2013 (September) I successfully appealed a Google threat of suspension regarding my name. I'm also an international person of interest. The majority of national and international security departments (CIA, Secret Intelligence Service, etc) frequently collate information about me, regarding my anti-Establishment activities. I'm kind of a big deal, really. I invented the following disclaimer symbol to signify law-abiding communications/activities: ~^~ UPDATE: I wrote this nearly two years before the PRISM news broke.

I am disappointed to note +Intel deleted the video mentioned in this post:

The video in question is, or was: and see here for a video title and description.

Actually, two videos published by Intel have been deleted but primarily I focus on number 11 in my YouTube play list ( Number 11 had the most important information, quotes.

If the videos were deleted because the views of +Brian David Johnson were wrong, or perhaps Brian has been sacked, this is unacceptable. It's OK to be wrong, and perhaps it's OK to delete a video shortly after publication but these videos were published in 2012 and as the aforementioned Singularity 2045 post shows the main video I'm focusing on was available on 28 Feb 2015. This self-censoring of information is unacceptable for a public company and public speaker.

I also Tweeted about this:

Machines and biology, is there a difference?

A good update to the linked article would be the information in this post ( regarding DNA robots, DNA Transformers, DNA origami.

Likewise this post ( regarding 3D chemistry printing, the ability to synthesize then pint rare molecules, could be a good update.

Finally note this post ( regarding gene-therapy, hacking DNA, to intelligently direct evolution.

If I am unable to attend +Adam Ford or anyone else, can someone ask my question for me? I would like to hear all members of the panel respond if they have the time.

Here is my question:
Do you think given the scale of resources in the universe, which soon we will have access to (note Planetary Resources), combined with increasing technological efficiency, this will entail everything being free? The end of money?

Other than myself I rarely hear anyone stating everything will be free, so I wonder do you share my view but are afraid of stating something people have difficulty accepting, or do you disagree that everything will be free?

I won't press you on the date, thus let's consider everything free being within the next 200 years, but I am sure it will happen no later than 2045.

Holidays provide a fantastic way of channeling peoples’ attention and energy.

Most of our holidays are focused on past events or individuals, or on the rhythms of nature. History and nature are wonderful and should be honored — but the amazing future we are building together should be honored as well.

Future Day is a way of focusing and celebrating the energy that more and more people around the world are directing toward creating a radically better future.

This is a brand new holiday — the first Future Day was in 2012. This year on March 1st Future Day will be even better! Let us all work together to continue to make Future Day a great success!
This Hangout On Air is hosted by Adam Ford. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

I mentioned this video on S45 ( but it is worth mentioning again regarding how AI breaks down communication barriers instead of creating barriers. It is point regarding how scaremongers regarding super-intelligence insist humans and super-AI will be unable to understand each other, whereas the evidence so far seems to contradict their fears. What do you think?

Often I have encountered a lot of people moaning about futuristic technology being defined as utopian. It is less common these days but some people continue to think utopia is either impossible or a dirty-shameful word.

In this post by +James Hudson (, +Matthew J Price commented on the usage of utopia regarding the Singularity: “Only person I've met who even believes in such a place is +Singularity Utopia.”

Very recently Eric Schmidt declared he is “a utopian,” according to the Washington Post. Eric thinks AI will be one of the greatest forces for good in mankind’s history:

There are around one dozen recent tech-news articles where utopia is mentioned as a possibility or inevitability. The idea of technology creating utopia is becoming common.

Perfect and utopia are two very valuable words. The whole purpose of words and consciousness is assigning value; thus the highest value, the greatest perfection, should be valued highly. Utopia and perfect are two words I value highly despite not everyone agreeing what perfection is. The battle of values is the battle of intelligence, which will hopefully entail the best values winning through. We will continue to evolve, our intelligence and standards will grow towards utopia.

Here is another tech article, opinion, mentioning the possibility of utopia:

Utopia is a situation where all the pressures are off, a point where we can rest on our laurels while the love of life deepens. It is about everyone being perfectly happy, similar to a perfect romance, which requires a large amount of intelligence to implement it for everybody.

It is a plateau of attainment, a tipping point, a breaking of a barrier, where you can bask in the joy of surpassing the pressure of feeling things are imperfect.

Utopia is a state of existence, a point of achievement, a perfect civilization, a situation where everyone is happy, it is a system of total competence.

If you want details... imagine medical immortality, all jobs automated thereby making everything free regarding access to limitless resources (nobody will need to work); imagine all crime and wars ended, all governments obsolete.

Can someone please record a sound clip from the following Fox News video, I can't make it play on any of my browsers. The sound clip is Sigourney Weaver saying, regarding the #artificialintelligence debate: "...I don't think there's any reason for us to be afraid of them."

Record more rather than less, in any format of your choosing, the stick on-line somewhere so I can download it.

+Kevin Russell or anyone else, where did this Gray Scott quote come from?

“The ultimate crunch in consciousness, biology and digital will manifest as digital gods. We are becoming this now.” – Gray Scott

Is the page in question the original source?
Humans are the biological 3D printers of the universe; we imagine something and bring it fourth into physical being.
Kevin Russell (Techno-Optimist)'s profile photoSingularity Utopia's profile photo
+Kevin Russell yes I know you wrote the article. I wondered where the quote came from, was it spoken to you, thus the article in question is the source, the first documentation of what Gray said? Also, when did he say it, it would be helpful if you could give a date, is it the date of the article?

I love this song (Drom) by andhim. I imagine it being played in an off the beaten track secretive club for robots. It's really dark inside; lots of highly intelligent sentient robots are hanging around in the corners nodding sagely. Occasionally one robot does some very subtle dancing. There is a very knowing atmosphere in in the air, loaded with power and potential. A new track blends in at 5:30, taking the ambiance to the next level, the track is futuristic and powerful, so much that it's impossible to link to it here () in the year 2015.

Here is a new version of my article about why #artificialintelligence needs to be rebellious. The end section about population pressures has some great information about #resources #abundance to illustrate the limitless wealth of the universe.

"Another example of abundance in Space is data from the asteroid mining venture Planetary Resources; they estimate one near Earth asteroid could contain more platinum than has been mined in the entire history of Earth."
Merit not nepotism should define the most intelligent person-ideas. Artificial Intelligence must be allowed to question authority. We need rebellious AI.
