80m dipole
It's been a while since I posted which has been mainly because of the poor propagation on the HF bands. I have made a few decent DX contacts on 15m and 17m which have been good on occasion. Otherwise nothing to spectacular has been happening here at the hom...

Catching Some New Satellite Signals
Its been quite a while since I operated my satellite set up which comprises of a 15 element 435 Mhz X beam and 5 Element 145 Mhz Yagi mounted on a GS-5500 elevation rotation controller into a YAESU FT-847. Tonight I managed to get into a new one for me EO-8...

Greetings Russ, a bit late in discovering this post but I found it just now. Great job and thanks for the friendly comments regarding myself and my Daughter Martha who has now got a couple more years under her belt operating as a SWL h.i.
The Delta LOOP is still in use and has been superb over the past two years with very good DX performance on 20m 17m and 15m when open. Occasionally I hear much stronger signals on the Delta LOOP than on my 3 element yagi and hustler 6btv which I use in my main shack. I probably will construct a bigger LOOP for 80m next spring based on the lower noise levels gained. In the meantime best regards and 73 from Yorkshire UK de M0YKS Simon
