Back in 2012, +Kas Salim and I trained Congolese refugees in Nsambya, Kampala on the use of Social Media for community development. Last week, we visited the group we partnered with on that training, the Xavier Project, to learn about their library offering for the community members in Nsambya.

Jamlab crew visited the Mobile Library, run by Xavier Project in Nsambya ,Kampala. It was truly a blessing to get insight on this project with such social impact on literacy and literary skills!

Need a little help with this...

As a Kenyan who's gone through the 8-4-4 system, what was the purpose of your education?
Drive
Kenyans, why do you learn? This document aims to aggregate answers to the following question: “AS A KENYAN CITIZEN, WHY DO YOU LEARN?” We are curious what Kenyans think about the purpose of their education. Who are ‘we’? We’re a collective of educators and innovators who not only want to see the kind of education system...

Webale Kampala for granting us the opportunity to co-host #MozFestEA

Jamlab was more than thrilled to join Mozilla Uganda team in running and organizing Mozilla Festival East Africa 2015 (affectionately known as MozFestEA).

It is an annual festival that brings together different groups of people to build and brainstorm open innovative solutions to the current challenges in East Africa using web literacy as a platform.

Jamlab was able to network and build mind-share around some of its ideas and interests, especially during our Popjam Kampala Session held on Sunday 19th July 2015 at Victoria University Kampala.

The road trip to Kampala and back was fun and more so, AWESOME!

+timothy rimbui, getting there with that East African guitar sound lakini bado kidogo. Kaza mkono. Great sound! Sometimes I wonder what this would've sounded like if produced by +Jaaz Odongo

The parable in Matthew 13 provides an answer to the "problem of evil". Verse 28 says "...An enemy hath done this." God isn't the enemy. Neither is man. The enemy is the devil. This video explains this concept better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH9uWQqXngw

Randomly took a personality test only to discover that my personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the world's 7 Billion population and is considered to be the most logically precise of all the personality types.
