Right now, in this very moment, you can join Mike Brown "Plutokiller" and Konstantin Batygin and ask the hell out of them about Planet 9. Hell or Hades if you are Pluto-fan or whatever other mythological underworld, that you like.

Note: Mercury isn't completely round anymore since it wandered slightly during exposures and of course athmospheric seeing is always an issue.

Looking forward to forcibly extract some speculations from Brown & Batygin on our April 8th show. After other groups did so, they've published their own orbital constraints for Planet 9 some days ago.

Such things have been made before, I know. I find this one quite inspiring, though. The shot of Walter Cunningham from inside Apollo 7, looking through the window, is as if it had been in the making for 5 years.

How about going to https://cosmoquest.org/x/hangoutathon-36-36-fundraiser/ and donate a dollar or an euro for a very effective science research and education programme? I've done it and so can you, because your help is needed and welcome!
Come celebrate science (and help us fund and do science) during our 36-hour Hangoutathon. During this event, we invite you to race to map the worlds; Mercury, the Moon, Mars (yes, we’ll have Mars!), and cold distant Vesta. While you do science, we’ll take you on a tour around the world as we follow the terminator to Global Star Party events taking place around the world. We’ll also be joined by a myriad of guests. (Stay tuned for complete listings!)

Hi All,

It's that time of year again: the CosmoQuest Hangoutathon is upon us,... well me,... but hopefully us.

I'm writing you because I need help. This year is do or die for us, and I need to raise the bar on things and hope that in response the audience will raise the bar in giving and doing science.

As you may have heard in the Monday +Astronomy Cast , our goal this year is to 1) be more organized (help!), 2) ask people to either give or do science, 3) have pre-arranged "door-prizes" that we'll give out at pre-scheduled times (and some may be "must be present online to win").

Here are specifics on things I need help with:
* I'm currently working on trying to find corporate donors (we have Celestron!). Can you think of companies (small or large) that may be willing to help and that you have contacts a? Any intros you could make would mean the world to me.
* What would you like to see? I'm working to fill 36 hours with content people will tune into even if they don't know about us already. You guys have kicked ass in making the Weekly Space Hangout glorious. What should I be doing?

I'm also looking for people willing to help in the green room and in other background ways during the weekend of the Hangout. If you are interested, can you please drop me a message?

Thank you for listening, and thanks for always being there to help out in the past.
