Case Studies & Best Practices  -

Millward Brown and +On Device Research have been working on moving trackers from face-to-face to mobile in a few South-East Asian markets for the past 6 months now.

What gave MB confidence for this transformation was the fact that mobile has proven to match the actual retail share more accurately compared to F2F.

For those who missed the MRMW Singapore event, here are the slides and a quick recap of our findings: http://ondeviceresearch.com/blog/mobile-research-vs-face-to-face-south-east-asia

Apologies for the re-post from MRMW group: Millward Brown and +On Device Research have been working on moving trackers from face-to-face to mobile in a few South-East Asian markets for the past 6 months with interesting results - mobile data matches real retail share data more accurately than F2F.

Brits are weird - they vote ski jumps as the 2nd most popular Olympic event (without having a single guy or girl jumping). More interesting data point for people organising the winter games is the fact that younger people seem to tune out.

One thing I didn't expect when coming to the market research industry a few years ago was the amount of navel gazing that I saw at some events and in some online groups (not here, thank god :) ). This inspired a blog post…

Thanks +Tim Lynch , +Edward Appleton kindly pointed out that I've brought out the problem but not offered my thoughts on the solutions. I'll fix that omission a bit later today - should improve the overall quality :)

I have only good memories from visiting this place 5 years ago so today's lunch was an unfortunate disappointment. The service was lovely enough and kids weren't an issue (the place was half-empty as we were early) but of the 4 dishes 2 were uninspired and definitely worth the money. Salad leaves in the salad were bitter. Why only 2 stars? Although my burger was good they sneakily added 3 bottles of water to our bill and the menu wasn't clear enough that bread, olives and little glass of warm soup will add €3 per person to the bill. Won't be going back.

It's not a fancy place but honest, with good food and cheerful service. Been here couple of times and will pick it again for casual lunch meetings. Great budget lunches (£7 for starter and main course, if memory serves).

Nice vibe, excellent food (try the 777) and friendly people. Enough room to take our baby in a stroller.
