Wire is a new messaging service with a bit different approach in terms of usage, interaction and style. A few month ago the Wire app for Android has been released. Since then I was using it, testing it, discussing it a lo...

Hopefully I get around writing a follow up post on what were the steps that helped Estonian scene to take off, perhaps some Pakistan can copy…
48 hours visiting Plan9 tech incubator showed how much Pakistan startup scene can learn from Estonia ca 5-10 years ago.

K. put us on a week long diet of no meat/fish/eggs, diary products, wheat products, sugar or alcohol which has forced us to find new things to snack on. So I made pumpkin chips. Very easy too – cut them … Continue reading →

Went to Tallinn Music Week and came back with this fun little video. I'm super happy for the soundtrack which is "Flowers" by Elephants From Neptune.

It's been a while since I published my last research report. This time the focus is on Middle East and shoppers with phones. Created quite a stir with our clients in the region :)

Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have some of the highest smartphone penetrations in the world, 76% and 75% respectively. Both countries have also embraced the shopping-as-entertainment culture.

This inspired us to add Egypt into the mix and research how people use their phones while in stores and shopping malls, be that for shopping-related activities or just for entertainment. #marketresearch   #middleeast   #mobile

I have only good memories from visiting this place 5 years ago so today's lunch was an unfortunate disappointment. The service was lovely enough and kids weren't an issue (the place was half-empty as we were early) but of the 4 dishes 2 were uninspired and definitely worth the money. Salad leaves in the salad were bitter. Why only 2 stars? Although my burger was good they sneakily added 3 bottles of water to our bill and the menu wasn't clear enough that bread, olives and little glass of warm soup will add €3 per person to the bill. Won't be going back.

It's not a fancy place but honest, with good food and cheerful service. Been here couple of times and will pick it again for casual lunch meetings. Great budget lunches (£7 for starter and main course, if memory serves).

Nice vibe, excellent food (try the 777) and friendly people. Enough room to take our baby in a stroller.
