Autonomous driving is being tested on one of Germany’s most traveled highways, the A9 autobahn in Bavaria. There, a digital highway test field has been established, essentially creating a laboratory for networked traffic on autopilot under real conditions. Siemens is deeply involved in helping to build this new level of mobility. Together with Infineon, we developed radar technology that is set to improve traffic flow and safety: sie.ag/1PjTpIj

Electromobility is not just about electric motors – why not electrify a whole highway? That’s what we did in Sweden. The eHighway supplies trucks with power via an overhead contact line with twice the efficiency of combustion engines. http://sie.ag/29PpsEK
