Apple’s Oscar Commercial Produced on iPad http://bit.ly/1zFsyNM by @myfrienddan
In yet another examples of how devices like iPhone/iPad can be used to tell compelling, commercial storylines, the commercial spot Apple aired during the Academy Awards Show (aka: the Oscars) was produced entirely on iOS. However, technology is still no substitute for good storytelling. In the 60 se

#heycool Zoom H1 Automatic Safety Track Adapter #filmmaking
I've always liked the idea of the recording a safety track when recording dialogue. This is the practice of sending your mono mic to one stereo channel, and a slightly lower version of the same mic to another. If your actors ...

Story
Tagline
Hyperlocal video network from Portsmouth, NH
Introduction
ShortStreamTV is a hyperlocal video network based in Portsmouth, NH. Why hyperlocal? Why Portsmouth? Good questions. We launched in July of 2009 with the purpose of reflecting on the people, businesses, and culture of the community we call home. Since then, we've become a leading source for community relevant online video with a contrarian edge.

As a member of the community, we exist entirely to help people like you tell your stories consistently over time. It's a content strategy unlike anything you'll find at area creative agencies, because it's more than that. It's about ensuring all boats float to the top. The world has changed. Technology offers such wonderful opportunities to make sure your story helps change it for the better.

Here's the take-away:
It is a civic gesture to contribute your story for the betterment of the community. It strengthens the local economy and secures its available resources for an increasingly uncertain future. Forget what you've been led to believe by politicians and the most persuasive messaging-propagandists. Rethink for yourselves, and recall the common ties between you and any one of your neighbors – or in this age, anyone from your social network that you see in person on a regular basis. If you are able in any way to find some common interest among you that is even remotely based on fundamental economics, well then politics be damned.
