The holly day of Yom Kippur will start at sundown tomorrow and I will take this time to be quiet. There is an amazing gift in taking this time for myself. My life is good and yet the reality is that my days are hectic. For 48 hours I will not speak, I will avoid social media, TV and all other common distractions and simply be. Meditation, reflection, yoga and clean eating are my prescription for myself.

Why use hypnosis for anxiety? Anxiety is very unpleasant and, indeed, it’s contagious. What is the right Oil for What Purpose??? How to choose the right oil? It gets very confusing out there. What oils are good for you? What oils should you use for frying? What oils for baking? What oils in your salad? What is the deal with all these Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids and what oils are high in which fatty acids?

What is polyunsaturated versus monounsaturated vs. saturated? Which one should we consume?

Sugar is poison! I know it is annoying to hear that and yes, grandma said everything in moderation. Will you accept heroin in moderation? The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition warns that processed sugars trigger the release of inflammatory messengers called cytokines. Sugar goes by many names so look out for any word ending in “ose,” e.g. fructose or sucrose on ingredient labels.
Be smart and take good care of you! Sugar is inflammatory and is as such contributes to mood disorders, cancer, heart disease, obesity and so much more....

Organic Food? Is it worth it? Should we eat organic vegetables? The answer lies in this question: What is artificially added to our food and how may it harm us? Do you know? Pesticides and insecticides, Hormones, and antibiotics. All of these are not present naturally in the fruits, vegetables, grain, milk, chicken, fish and meat that we eat. They are added by the different industries for various economic reasons.

Let’s deal with these artificial additions to our food briefly to see how they possibly effect us.
