And to think mankind is destroying places just like this... to make things like paper bags! Did you know we can grow and harvest hemp with far less time, space, damage and destruction? and we can use hemp to make all the paper products needed... without destroying the rainforest or other forests.

Sometimes when I say I'm Spiritual people of religion think I'm into some 'new' cult type belief or that I'm against religions... I just want to tell you what my meaning of Spiritualism is to help clear the air.
I don't belong to any 'group' or 'cult' or 'system' or anything at all other than God. I worship God, believe in God and know that Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and that Jesus is our Lord and Savior.
I also don't have anything against religions; what I don't like about religions (based on my own research and knowledge of God) is that religions were man made and man created their own set of 'rules' or 'sins' and have convinced many that God or Jesus said those things. I find it really hard to believe that God would give us these 'hormones' and sexual desires at puberty and then tell us it's a sin to have sex, lol. God created us perfect the way we are, I don't think he created us as sinners, those are man's or demons words if you ask me. We were created pure and clean when we came into this world and we have it within us to know the difference between right and wrong; we were taught other things were right or wrong and therefore we went against some of our natural instincts convincing ourselves that we're sinners because we had or want sex whether or not we're married or with the same sex... (that usually gets some religious folks in an uproar, but that's how I feel and what I've prayed & meditated on and got answers to confirm). For those who believe otherwise, that's ok, if that's what you feel in your heart then so be it.
I study and research all types of religions and usually find something in each that I like and to me sometimes things ring true, so I have a mix of things I like... I like that Buddhism teaches about peace and love and helping others. I like that Hinduism (and Krishna) teaches peace, love and tells stories about when (Jesus) visited them (they call him by a different name, but it was Jesus) and I like that they have mantras that they chant to praise God. I like that in Kabbalah they teach how the Universe works with being able to manifest our hearts desires. I respect that Muslims believe so whole heartedly that Allah is God and that they refuse to waiver (even though I think they're worshipping the same God as everyone else, just call Him by a different name.) I like that Catholics believe wholeheartedly in forgiveness of sins and I like that Christians believe Jesus died for us.
I could go on and on about what I don't like about so many religions, but that's not what this is about. This is about Spiritualism and what it means to me. :)
I believe that there are many things that mankind forgot about (or refuse to believe) that exist such as our 3rd eyes, Faeries, Gnomes, Elves, Dragons, Magick (not a sin or demonic) and many other things like Mermaids, Angels and that trees can feel pain and even communicate with us (but hardly anyone listens anymore.) I believe these things are real and aren't bad because I have witnessed many of them to be true and I've done a lot of research (although I have much more to do!) I also believe that demons are real and have brainwashed many people into thinking these things aren't real or don't exist... when / if one were to do the research on these wonderful beings, then one would uncover an entire history of them in the world that mankind has chosen to ignore or believe the lies that have been told about them. Some people may say I'm crazy because I believe in Faeries, Unicorns or Leprechauns, but the proof is there, you just have to look for it. Many people see these magickal beings but because of the way society looks at them they don't tell anyone they see them... the ones that do are either deemed crazy or they become famous writers such as Doreen Virtue, Elizabeth Clare Prophet or Betty Eadie and countless more that have been trying to teach us all that we're missing out on a whole other world of Magick that God created.
I also believe in peace, love, light and that we each have amazing powers within us that were gifted to us by God, like how to communicate with each other through our minds (telekinesis), healing with the power of our minds, psychic abilities, manifesting and much more... the problems we're having with believing these things is we've been conditioned not to so sometimes it makes it a little harder to use our God given talents because we've "shut them up" if you will, for so long. I also believe that we all have a destiny and purpose to fulfill here on earth, no matter how great or small it may be. We're not here to just play this materialistic rat race that man invented, God didn't invent the clock or time, we did. What I've learned is the things that are sins, like judging others (looking down on people or falsely accusing or assuming things that are usually based on our own self imposed hang ups)... killing people is a sin, hurting others intentionally or knowingly, stealing and hatred, being prejudice, lying, these are all things that I consider and have learned are the true sins. I believe that we don't all have to agree or even abandon one's religions or beliefs in order to get along and love one another... I don't care what religion, race, or financial status someone has or what their background is. Quite frankly we all have a past and some of us have pasts we aren't always proud of, but that doesn't make us who we are... does it really matter if I'm a successful author or famous yet? Does it really matter if you're wealthy or barely getting by? I don't think it does... I think what matters are the ways we conduct ourselves, how much we really care about people, animals and the world we live in and how we show it. One could say they want to help save the rainforest but their actions speak louder than their words... it doesn't matter to me if someone lies saying they donate their time or money, because in the end it's ourselves we're lying to, it's God and it's the trees and animals and people that we say we're helping that are effected. If one says they believe in Faeries but when they're outdoors they don't try to see them, don't say hi to them, or try to avoid hurting the trees and the environment, again it's themselves they're lying to, not me. Lie to me all you want, but I also believe in Judgment day and it's only yourself you're hurting, not me. I wish everyone the best, even the demons and fallen Angels... I really wish they'd come back to the light, ask for forgiveness and do good deeds. I even try not to worry or stress when I know someone is lying to me, because it's themselves they're hurting, not me.
Bottom line... to me being Spiritual is loving everything, respecting everything and not being close minded to the things that exist that we may not even be aware of. When something happens now, I'm usually not surprised anymore because I think I've seen so much that the only thing that surprises me is when someone I hoped was going to change for the better and stop doing hurtful things, doesn't. I get my hopes up that people will change, that they'll truly embrace one another and then I see people lose their temper and let their ego or anger take control. I also believe in standing up for the innocent and sometimes that means having to debate or even argue, but I do my best not to let my ego get in the way.

To me being Spiritual is embracing all that life has to offer and every living thing, the ups, the downs, the rich, the poor, those of all nations, races, religions, sexual preferences and more. I'm far from perfect and like everyone, I have many flaws... but I do my best and that's all we can expect from anyone, that they try and live life according to their own standards and beliefs.

If you love God and Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Krishna, or what have you, then you too should know in your heart and have been taught that we should not hate, not fight and not judge. :)

Namaste`

Love & Light,
Shelle

+Raju Sagi hmmm... I don't think any of us should tell anyone what to believe either however I think spreading the message of love, peace, forgiveness and understanding with some acceptance thrown in doesn't hurt. :) All we can do is keep on loving and pray for the best. <3

HORRIBLE!!! This place was FILTHY and the Asian gal that did my nails didn't even glue them on properly, left tons of space between my nails and the tips which can cause infection!!! The tips don't go all the way to the sides - totally the wrong size AND all she did was talk bad about me in Vietnamese - guess she didn't know my friend could understand her!!!! She complained the whole time about how cheap I was because I didn't want the gel wrap and how I probably wouldn't tip... WORST nail job EVER!! Every tip has bubbles in it, totally visible, no shine whatsoever, had to put a clear coat on myself after I filed and fixed every nail!!! Every nail was crooked, uneven and had acrylic stuck under every nail... WILL NEVER go there again!!! Need to call the health department, no paper towels, gal doing pedicures touched EVERYTHING with dirty feet gloves on, tables were filthy... and she wonders WHY I didn't tip much? She's lucky I stayed... so sick that this is what people think is a good salon!!! People obviously have NO IDEA!!!
