Thank you for the info! Here in Tochigi we have a famous "Lemon Milk Ice" (maybe you've seen it in the combinis) and I noticed on their label it says it uses both 10% real lemon juice, as well as 0% juice" That always confused/amused me.

I don't really eat ice cream much anymore. But if/when I do, I consider it a junk snack anyway, so it really doesn't matter which one I buy I guess.

Hi, Shea. Thanks for uploading these videos. I like how informative you are and this helps me understand what i need to do to prepare for my own journey to Japan some day. i have one question if you wouldn't mind answering. How difficult would it be as a U.S citizen with a B.A to find an English teaching job in Tokyo if they saved up funds and only only had a 2 month window once there.

Great advice! This is a good method for anyone when starting out. You never get better unless you do the work. You can't be good right off of the bat (unless genetics comes into play). But for most who are just starting out, just do the work, reflect on it, perhaps even get advice, and then keep on doing it.

That sounds like a good strategy Shea. Consistently getting better through a cycle of action, reflection, feedback, and more action

It's everywhere in Tochigi, but I have only seen it one time in Tokyo. I think it might just be a local food. If you ever visit Tochigi, it makes good omiyage.

I love craft beer but hate hipsters. Imagine my dismay when I found this out...Fuck it. I'm still drinking craft beer because I just like it.

Man, I miss George Carlin. I remember first seeing one of his specials on HBO as a kid and he did a bit on religion. I turned it off at first because I felt naughty just hearing it. But what did I do five minutes later? I turned the TV back on and finished watching it. Little did I know that would set me on a path that would lead me to question not just religion, but everything that is ultimately bullshit in this world. I thank great minds like Carlin for helping me find my own path and to not just tow the line of bullshit fed by society. This is one of the greatest clips in regards to religion. And sitting here now, I still find it just fascinating. Bravo Mr. Carlin, you left us too early.
